Here it is almost all from end of 2011 year issue. Missing just one or two items that will be added when it arrive to me. We will start with:

Postage Due 4-2011:

Like usually, Red Cross, UNICEF and For Children. All valid for one week use on every mail delivered at the time. Face value just minimum of few cents, but because it is not attractive topic (except Red Cross), hardly that You will find it available at every dealer around. When talking about market value, prepare for 1$ for each stamp.

33-2011 "Power Plant"

Here I still missing FDC cover for this issue, because that I can not say for sure date of issue, but topic is nice, "100 year of Hydro Power Plant" in Serbia! Strange? Not so - if we know who are Serbian scientist like Nikola Tesla (https://www.facebook.com/groups/teslarelease/), and other that made some most important work to our civilization.

Here is one single issue, with photo of project team of this power plant, and nice design that well present this occasion. Face value of 22.00 dinara, market value around 0.62 $.

32-2011 "Gold Medal - Volleyball":

On September 2011, in Vienna, Austria - tournament, where Serbia take gold medal, and also on October 2011, in Belgrade, Serbia, again gold medal for 1st place. Nice achievement from Serbian sport Team and nice present to nation on end of the year - isn't?

Set of two value, in sheetlets of 8+1 gutter, design is fine, and topic attractive, which will go to "Sport" topic, and not so big market value - just 1.25 $.

31-2011 "Journalist Organization":

Again one nice issue, celebrating 130 years - can You imagine, 130 years of organized journalism in Serbia. i think that this country "beat" many of "great" democratic and modern countries around globe with organization and education organization.

This issue come to public on Nov. 25, 2011, single stamp there, typewriter, book, PC - nice for topic collectors, and also not expensive, will find it for half dollar or little more - 0.62 $.

30-2011 "Christmas":

You know, I like when they make "Icons" in full mean, and not like this one. Even that on stamp is stated "Icons from Church" - better say it is fresco - small difference? Probably for ordinary people, but - artist made nice effort in design, FDC is even better than stamp alone. Issued on Nov. 15, 2011, two stamp in set, much-much bigger face value than ordinary issue - this one with 112.00 + 22.00 dinar - translated to market value, it will take from You around 3.82 $.

29-2011 "Joint issue Serbia-Brazil":

Nice effort by Serbian Post, to inform public about friendship between Serbia and Brazil, with two stamp that celebrate 50 years of Nobel Prize given to Serbian writer Ivo Andric (1892-1975), and Brazilian writer Rachel de Queiroz (1910-2003). Both are very important for own country and civilization at global.

Issued on Oct. 26, 2011, two stamp in set, nice portrait design and not so expensive - on the market just around 2.00 $.

28-2011 "Stamp Day":

I don't like this design, too much "poor" and avantgard? Probably other mean to celebrate Belgrade and First Philatelic Exhibition made there. Nice info can be find just on the back side of FDC, and from stamp, You can learn just of Serbian early classic issue, and new bridge (recently build) in Belgrade, less visible is there some other architecture from Belgrade, but color composition damage overall feeling of serious design work.

Single stamp, Nov. 25, 2011 - 1.31 $ on market.

27-2011 "1st Serbian Movie":

And which design!!!! Probably Serbian Post wish to remind Turkish - that "We didn't forget"!

Again 100 year celebration! 1st movie after "Life and Deeds of the Immortal Duke Karadjordje"!

Printing sheet of 10 stamp are great! FDC and CM also nice, and look at the stamp! "Head is rolling", in daily newspaper of "Vecernje Novosti" comment go like "The picture looks very nice and clear, without any blinking, and contents itself will provoke a real sensation wherever it will be presented"! Probably true? For sure, Turkish will be upset, because there, on stamp is "head" of Turk, and topic alone refresh memory of genocide made in Serbia by Ottoman Empire (for which Turk never received any punishment, even today, they are awarded some kind of "leader" around).

Single issue of 22.00 dinar face value, I think it is worth it - 0.62 $ for very good design and topic!

Issue come to public on Nov. 3, 2011, in single stamp, and printing sheet of 10.

26-2011 "Joy of Europe":

Every year, this issue make me angry! Not because topic, but because design! Yes, it is children drawing on stamp, and yes, it is nice - but to celebrate children effort, peace, education and all human value against children, You can manifestate it in much better way! This kind of "kish-kush" drawing will just lower idea and quality!

Issued on Sept. 30, 2011, single stamp, expensive on the market - 1.31$, I think - not worth!

25-2011 "Volleyball Champ Italy-Serbia":

If You see in previous issue, Serbia take 2 gold medal, isn't? Again, best of the best in sport arena! But, surprise - this time also nice design, probably will be short on market! Single issue, 1.31 $ on market, and good luck in exchange. If someone offer You for exchange - take it! Issued on Sept. 20, 2011.

24-2011 "Non-Aligned Countries":

We all know what this countries mean before 50-60 year - isn't? It was one great organization that made some kind of "justice" in "World Order" made after WWII - to celebrate 50 year from first conference that was held in Yugoslavia (again Yugoslavia, it is mostly advanced country at the time?) on 1st to 7th September 1961. Just to remind collectors that 25 countries made this organization (from today's 180+ countries), that give this organization very big political power in UN and that was one of reason, why was Yugoslavia TORN apart by "big" power like USA and England!!!

Issued on Sept. 1, 2011, single stamp, with low value - on market just over 0.62 $.

23-2011 "Airplane in Yugoslavia":

Great! Serbian probably wish to "take it for myself", but this plane was build in YUGOSLAVIA at the time, and it was some kind of "miracle" for country that was totally destroyed in second WWII by Germany. This plane come out from factory in 1957/1961 - so short period after WWII and "pop-up" one turbojet plane with RR Viper motor on it - great! I think that Serbia need to print it every year, just to remind today's politician what is possible to made with great wish, with bare hand, with country in ruin! Today - whole technology in Serbia, all money and DEMOCRACY didn't made even 0.00001% of it!!!!

Single "minus" that I can find is in dimension of stamp, it is not enough big that You can express all beauty of this plane, in printing sheet form - it is even better! Issue come out on July 20, 2011, single stamp will cost You 1.42 US$, single with gutter probably 2.00 US$, sheetlet of 8+1 gutter will cost You 12.00 US$. I prefer it for any collection - it is worth this money!

22-2011 "ZOO Park Belgrade":

Here we have one combination, that I can say freely - it is speculative! Why? Because it is issue in such form, that don't have any logic. Catalog will have hard time to find correct system to number it because this issue come in single stamp, and also in booklet format with different stamp from single one. You can say that it is set of 5 value? No. Are that two separate issue for one occasion? Probably! Good effort is made by "idea" of responsible person for this issue, because here we have one nice "word play" of BEO (in English it mean WHITE) with BEOgrad (city), BEO ZOO (name of zoo park) and four animal on stamp in white color fur! It is fact, that in Belgrade Zoo Park, existed this animals in white color!!! White Tiger, White Leo, White Eagle and White Kangaroo! GREAT! But also great prices! For booklet set prepare 5.50 US$, for single stamp prepare 0.62 US$ and two FDC will take from You 9.52 US$.

Postage due 3-2011:

Like usually, one stamp for "Holly Sava" church, and second is nice design for previously mentioned issue of "Digital Serbia" - this one is nice design of "mouse" in form of flower! In any way - it is worth to have it in collection, even that You will need to pay for any single minimum 1.00 $US.

21-2011 "Cult of Bread":

Wow, new topic - but, I made it wrongly read - it is actually "Museum Exhibit" to celebrate 100 year of celebration of "Duzijanca" (some kind of ritual in past, where to celebrate end of harvest of wheat). It is introduced by one family and it go for almost 100 year, final act is to present wreath in the end of harvest to "owner" of field where is wheat harvested.

Design is relatively nice, two stamp in set, "Dom Gospodnji" church in Subotica and "Crown" from 1973. I wish to all countries worldwide to have this kind of celebration, even that it is mostly in Slavens "blood" to have "cult of nature and bread" - but I can say just, cult or not - it is nice issue!

For set of 2 stamp prepare 2.20 US$. Printing sheet will take from You 28.00 US$.

20-2011 "Bridges":

Nice and clever issue, yes - it is science to build it, even simple one and this three are really good project. Issue come out on June 20, 2011, three stamp, according topic also price differ - prepare 3.77 US$ for set! Commemorate bridges on Danube near Beshka town in Serbia, second is new railway bridge on Sava river in Belgrade and third is road bridge "Sloboda" (Freedom) on Danube in Novi Sad. Most bridges are destroyed by USA, GB and other NATO members countries in last civil war on Yugoslavia soil. Explanation for destruction was "...it is army infrastructure..." - very funny, not serious and ridiculous explanation from civilized countries like Germany, France, Italy and other NATO members countries - but, what to do - not every country care about self respect!

19-2011 "Nature Protection":

Every single year it come, "Nature Protection" issue, that I really admire. But why they can not made it design much better? This issue, when someone is looking from distance, look like more to "hell" panorama! It is designed to scare or to promote?

Here we have 2 value set, "Waterfal from Mokranjska Stena" and "Tufa accumulation Beli Izvorac" - You know where it is? No? I also don't know! But nothing terrible, because that we have Philately! But prepare for this set 1.92 US$. Issued on June 13, 2011.

18-2011 "F. Liszt - Joint Issue with Hungary":

You know, probably wrong will be to say, but - if my country suffered for so long period of this country (Hungary), and have very big damage gone by this country (Hungary) and not just once (Austro-Hungarian Dinasty), but few time (First WW, Second WW, last civil war on Yugoslavian soil) - believe me, I will never made any kind of "joint issue" stamp together!

So, politics didn't care about history! They made one single stamp on June 14, 2011 to celebrate 200 year of composer F. Liszt! On FDC is written: "...to commemorate, confirm and reinforce..." - GOD - to "REINFORCE" their friendly relationship! Hungary bombed, occupied, killed Serbian, and in last civil war on Yugoslavian soil, Hungary openly supported and supplied weapon to warring sides in opposite of UN prohibition to do it! As is - is, we Philatelist have one single stamp, that You will be asked to pay around 1.50 US$, not too much I think.

17-2011: "AIDS":

Year after year with no advance in medical cure for this problem. And - let's be fair, WHY ordinary people need to pay, collect money, think, fight on media for to resolve some medical problems? It is not enough that gov't take from us every months for health care (see Your monthly payment slip) and they need to made next also postage stamp? 30 years gone how we discovered this "poison", and nothing done to eradicate it! Shame! design is more or less in middle, one single stamp, You will need 1.42 US$, but printing sheet of 10 will take from You 15.00 US$ minimum! Issued on June 1, 2011.

16-2011: "Digital Serbia":

Probably (I really don't know), single country around, that made some Government Conference and declaration for! Government declared that every citizen need to have access to "Digital World", and it is very fanny to me, that some politician will sit and talked about BASIC right of every single human on this planet!

Set of 2 value, issued on June 3, 2011, yes - it have very nice design! One stamp related to this topic, with even much "clever" design is also in Postage due issue from this year. Value is good - just 1.88 $ per one set.

15-2011 "Red Fruit":

Idea was great, design more or less good, printing fell short! See this color, and tell me if it is red?! far away from red, magenta? If You lived ever in outside of big city, probably You know true color of this fruit! I know it well, and can say - that this color used in printing plant is NOT natural color of this fruit! Issued on may 27, 2011, set of 4 stamp and again gutter between. Printing sheet of 5 set - for set prepare 4.70 $ US.

On stamp You will find two kind of fruit, one is Redcurrant (Ribes rubrum from Grossulariaceae family) and Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon from Ericaceae family).

14-2011 "YB" year of Biodiversity:

It is first time that I hear something about this topic, probably I'm not so old to "meet" this topic before, but, let's be fair - how many of us (Philatelist) even hear about? From FDC I see that "Biodiversity" issue are born in 1992 where till today 190 countries signed some kind of agreement/declaration. I see that it is lot of countries obligated for "protecting", but if we will go "out" and see how much "WE" protected, it will be very grave discovery!

Shortly, single stamp issued, with relatively good design, yes - it is worth this 1.40 US$. Issued on April 15, 2011.

13-2011 WWF:

We all know what WWF mean, my opinion is that every single country need to protect our nature and any kind of living on earth. But - BUT, if we made an effort, I think that it need to be well done! This issue, set of 4 value and gutter between, with due respect for artist and design staff - is almost like children painting in school, and more than that - it is not first time that is made in low fashion! Issued on April 4, 2011 - set of 4 value, in printing sheet of 5, with gutter on middle that made one complete picture - because that - specialist will need to buy whole sheet of 5 set. Worth? Probably, but price for sheet is around 30.00 US$ - if You ad postage, payment charge etc - it will go to around 40-45.00 US$ per sheet.

Here we come again with new issue from Serbia, that I recently received, now from "Serbiamarka" and not from "Jugomarka". It is "new trend" in Serbia, probably in accordance with EU Reich that didn't "like" nothing that have name "Jugoslavia" or related. God know why it must be done, and where it will be heading - just time will tell!

P. Due 2-2011: "Red Cross":

Like usually, I don't have information about date of issue, but it was valid just for week in use, and obligated on every single post delivered. By my opinion it is very poorly designed, but - classic for this topic. Nothing special, and worth around 0.24 $ in some dealers inside Serbia. From my experience - it will be very hard, in the future to find it and complete this in Your collection, because most of dealer will not keep it in stock!

12-2011 "Personalities":

Issued on May 13, 2011 to celebrate 160 years of birth Dr Laza Lazarevic, one really great person, who have impact on Serbian people and country alone. He was lawyer, doctor and writer, and also fighter in Serbo-Turkish war (that resulted in Ottoman fall and Serbian liberated Kosovo from Turks).

Single stamp, with minimal face value, but prepare around 0.48$ for it. FDC are even better designed, and will cost You around 1.52$. Will be available in the future, because it is of no significance to general collectors.

11-2011 Gymnasium:

One issue, that I really don't know why is made? What is need to put burden on collectors for this issue, which celebrate 130 years of Bora Stankovic Gymnasium. This Gymnasium, is not so great that will need postage stamp to be printed, for reason that every bigger city in Serbia have an Gymnasium with 100 or more year in existence.

Overall design is fine, minimum face value, around 0.48$ per single, will be available in the future. Issued on May 10, 2011.

10-2011 EUROPA "Forest":

Still EVROPA issue are coming out at the time, and with better than usually design, even I can say - one of better from all countries that issue this topic. Come out on May 5, 2011. Two value in set, with very nice design that is worth to have in collection. For this set prepare 2.20 $, but if You want it with gutter between two stamp, or with tab - You will pay premium. hardly that will be available in next 3-4 year, because low quantity printed.

9-2011 "Scout":

Not bad, but can be made better! I will put it in "Children's Painting" topic - if I don't know to read Serbian!!! Probably will be in demand just because topic alone - not more than that. One single stamp, minimal face value, but prepare 0.52$ for single stamp.

8-2011 "Fight Poliomyelitis":

Very important issue, to fight this "greatest children's killer" and be aware that it is still around us! Serbian Post made little bit trick, and on stamp is also one "Rotary" symbol, that will made this issue more in demand. Design alone will not show us at first glance, or eye look, about what is talking, I will say it is something about dancing, but after reading text, and examination FDC I "catch" the point and see that it is about health care and Polio problem around.

Single stamp, with double like usually face value, prepare minimum 1.10 $ for it! Issued on March 31, 2011.

Here we go to 2011 year.

Yes - little bit too late, but have an reason, probably all dealers with Serbia stamp, will have same reason with be late - it is "Jugomarka" fault at all! Why "Jugomarka"? Because this company, and complete staff of it, allowed someone from politician, to "press" it, and "Jugomarka" are closed, filled for bankruptcy (?), eliminated and "reborn" on new name - "Serbiamarka"! My personal opinion about it are very

negative - simple say: "Who are shame of own past - didn't

deserve future"!

Let's talk about stamp:

1-2011 - "Preserve Polar":

I don't think that this issue deserve any compliment! It is so poorly designed that I can say just "shame"! And more than that - to start year with so poor design is not good omen. What we have is one m/s with two stamp, face value of 112 dinar, not cheap at all - on marked will cost around 1.68 euro, knowing exchange rate - it will be out of reach for USA market! Issued on May 31, 2011.

2-2011 - "Lunar Horoscope":

Little bit better design than previous issue, but not something to made "joy" in collectors heart! It is one set, issued on Feb. 7, 2011, that will cost You

around 1.43 euro in local dealer. Probably will have better rating than first issue, but it will be just because topic alone - not because design.

3-2011 - "International Telecommunication Union":

Issued to celebrate Serbian membership from 1866 year - nice to know and remember! When I see stamp alone, have an different feeling than when I see sheet of 8+1 stamp - it is much different picture, probably to better! Single stamp, that will cost You some 0.85 euro in shop, but You will easy find it around Phila Forum for exchange (if You have something to offer). Issued on Feb. 9, 2011.

4-2011 - "Art and Judaica":

Finally arrived first better design this year, where we have 4 stamp in set. Issue come out on Feb. 25, 2011 - to celebrate 100 year of birth artist Bora Baruh, artist with very sad family history, that ended in WWII period. Jew by nationality, executed in Jajinci prison. Worth to mention, that he lived in France, but "Serbian brother" - French - expelled him from France(political reason). Like I mentioned, set have 4 stamp, high face value, will cost You 3.10 euro, but for set of 4 FDC prepare much-much more!

5-2011 - "100 year Music School":

One single stamp to celebrate 100 year of "Stankovic" music school. Not so bad design, but hardly important from collectors view. Probably just topic "music on stamp" will fit, or probably also "Architecture" - we will see. face value are minimum in dinar, and from dealer You will need to pay some 0.41 euro, not expensive for one stamp. Issued on march 15, 2011.

6-2011 - "Easter":

Set of two stamp, well made - I can say, that it can be included also to "Art" topic, and probably also to "Icons", because one of stamp is fragment from icon (1818-1820 year). two stamp in set, with face value of 112 and 22 dinar - yes, expensive - but worth! Issued on march 25, 2011 to celebrate Easter this year. Like usually it is religious motifs there, and FDC are also nice done work.

7-2011 - "Serbian National Theatre 150 yr":

I will not say "ugly", but can be done much-much better for this important institution and celebration. What to do - if nothing else, printing was done in good way by Forum Printing Plant. Again, single stamp with minimal face value, prepare 0.41 euro for it.

Postage due 1-2011 - "Cancer, Avala Tower":

Here like usually, I don't have any other information than that what i see on stamp, and it is "fight cancer" from set that is coming every year, and second stamp have really important memory. Second stamp with picture of "Avala Tower" are great work of Serbian people and country alone. It is rebuilt from "floor" after NATO bombardment and destruction of civilian object during last Yugoslavia civil war. Still no one from NATO countries are not charged in court for this act that present us with great barbarian way of life today! Probably it fit in "New World Order" like someone call today's democracy! I recommend it for all collection to be included!

Face value are also not minimal, if we know that minimal face value inland mail is 22 dinar, and this "Avala" stamp are valued 44 - it is really good money, hope that it will go to finance this project, that many artist and people around world donated to rebuild. translate it to 1.01 euro for this two stamp.

Here come end of 2010 year. I think that Serbian Post made more than need issues for 2010 yr - it come to count 26 issues + postage due. Many people and collectors will be very unhappy with this information, because it will request more money to spend if You want to keep collection complete - but, Serbian Authority, probably care just about profit.

21-2010 Stamp day:

Issued on Nov. 26, 2010, with one nice stamp, single in this issue. design is one from better, and can be included in "Stamp on Stamp" topic, probably also "Building-Architecture" also.

face value not so big, but on market prepare 1.83 $for it.

22-1020 Museum Exhibits:

Nov. 26, 2010, set of two stamp, market prices for set of 2 = 1.83$, but for small sheet of 9 stamp+gutter on middle You will need more than 18.00 $. What we have here on stamp? One pictured Porcelain figure and second have it with Glass - not something that will attract many topical collectors - isn't? Sheet of 9+1 stamp, have some good looking, but also price!

23-2010 Writers:

Issued Nov. 26, 2010. Continuing with this issue every year, once it was Actors, now it is writers. Between all on issue, we have one Nobel Prices Winner (Ivo Andric) and also one who can be included in "Judaica" topic - Danilo Kis. Design is not bad at all, fine balance between modern stream, classic painting and nice portrait. Prices on market is not so bad for set/sheet with gutter - 4.88 $, but for set of 4 FDC prepare almost three time more.

24-2010 Joy of Europe:

Nov. 26, 2010. Still I can not understand why it continue with this series? O.K. it is for children's joy, O.K. it is of young generation importance and promotion of children's art, but - I think that it is missing taste! One single stamp that5 will cost You 1.27$ - too much? i think - yes!

25-2010 Christmas:

Issued Nov. 30, 2010. One "standard" Christmas issue - nothing more than that! I don't like this kind of design, and many-many countries around globe have same "taste", and same, very small "space" to made other design to celebrate Christmas. But, it is for every country to decide. Two stamp in set, You will need to pay some 1.88 $ for set.

26-2010 Aviation:

Dec. 9, 2010. I can say "Hallelujah"! End of the year and thanks God - best of best for this year! nice design, nice printing, nice FDC! Just see two stamp (from 4) - 44 din and 66 din, they are almost here in - almost close to Your face! What we have on stamp? Brege 14, spartan Kruzer, IK-3 and DC-9. On single stamp we have portrait of Ivan Saric (1876-1966) - constructor. I recommended to all collectors, especially topical of Aviation to "grab" this issue, even that it can cost more than 8.33 $ for booklet and single! For FDC (two) - You will need also "high" - almost 11.50$ - but again, it is worth.

20-2010 Davis Cup Winner:

I was waiting for long time to receive this issue from Serbian post - Jugomarka, but in the end, it was impossible to have it directly from distributor. Explanation come that this stamp was sold-out at the day of issue. Here it come some very serious questions about issue alone:

Stamp, FDC - come out from print and are officially available on June 20th, 2010! Final match of Davis Cup was on June 19th, 2010 - can someone from reader explain me - how it was possible to prepare, print, distribute this stamp in so short period of few hours?

By education, I'm printing plant technician - for sure, I know how much time will take, to prepare all work for printing stamp like this. And I think that it is impossible for few hour to made.

Probably "third sense" was in action, and probably, Serbian Posta made all work done, even before final match was finished! They (officials in Serbian Post) take great risk to made all work done before they even know who will be winner?

So - I was in deep trouble like supplier of new issue for this country, but, to my luck, my client understand it well and even agree with option, that this issue can be very well classified like "speculative", because suddenly, someone purchased all quantity printed. By way - printer is ZIN printer - it is Printing Company for paper money production - it is really surprise, because official printer in 2010 was/is FORUM - what happened that Serbian Post made it in ZIN company, I really don't know!

Any way, because no stamp was available - I go to well know internet auction, eBay, and purchased it there from dealer in Serbia. here again come surprise - searching around, analyzing where seller reside, I discovered that all three offered samples, come from Krusevac town in central Serbia! What happened with Belgrade dealers?

In the end, I purchased one sample from each option, and when calculating all together (PayPal fees, Postage, Asked prices) - I come to balance sheet, that say:

m/s of 8 stamp + gutter have tag price of 44.00 e. Great - isn't? Pair set with gutter go to

5.50 e, single stamp for 2.50 e, and FDC have it at 8.00 e.

Serbian people know to say: "Ko voli - nek izvoli" ("Who like it - invited to take it" - in free translation).

Just today arrived material from Serbian Post, better say "ex-Jugomarka" shop re-start to deliver back orders from 2010 year, after some very "problematic" closed-door period. They changed name to "Serbiamarka", probably because dispute with FIFA (?) organization. from this issue, come "closing" of official contractor for Serbian Post "Jugomarka". rumors was around, because unlegalized use of FIFA logo on World Cup issue.

As was - we will never know, but here it is - still not all issue from 2010 year (I don't received World Cup set, and Davis Cup set), but hope that will help:

14-2010 "World Cup - FIFA":

Issued at Jun 23, 2011 - with one set of two value and m/s with so big face value that didn't match any postal rate at the time (even now, no postal rate for 177 dinar). Just recently one info come from Serbia, that this m/s existed in all post branches, but is prohibited to sell because dispute with FIFA. Any way - to obtain it (and it is possible) You will need to buy it on eBay or from some very trusted dealers. As I know - prices are around 5.00 euro for mint m/s and same for set of 2. If You will find it on PU cover - it will be really rare.

15-2010 "Icons - Joint Issue with Russia":

Face value is not so big, but if You will need also Russian - prepare some more to invest. At market it is around 2.60 euro for set of 2, sheet of 8 will cost You nice money - but You will have nice item.

16-2010 "Tour de Serbia":

Even that it is far away from range of "Tour de France", this event was enough important to Serbia, and they made one nice stamp to celebrate it. Issued on Jul 1, 2010 - one, single stamp, face value of 50.00 dinar. Coincidence? 50.00 dinar for event "50th bicycle tour"!!!! No matter - nice design and nice issue, that is worth on market around 1.30 euro.

17-2010 "Gucha - Trumpet gathering":

Issue come on Aug 13, 2010, single stamp, I don't see reason why to made it! probably it is some kind of tourist propaganda - nothing more than that. Single stamp of 44 dinar face value, which mean 1.17 euro on market for this single stamp. Only if You collect music instrument on stamp - You will need it.

18-2010 "Youth Olympic - Singapore":

Aug 14, 2010 - worth to have it? No! Design, importance, - nothing that is! Just topic and it is all! face value go up to 51.00 dinar - on market is around 1.36 euro, mostly available on market, even sheet of 8 is not something that will catch Your eye!

19-2010 "Mother Theresa":

Out from print on Aug 26, 2010 - this single stamp have nice topic, and also important to remind people about modest life, good human, help for poor! No need to explain who she was, but I think, that she deserve better designed image on stamp! Single stamp, valued 50.00 dinar, but market (because of popularity) value it on 1.33 euro per single stamp.

Postage Due 3-2010:

Like usually, small amount of 10.00 dinar face value - one go for Holly Sava Church, and second is for unknown purpose - probably for "Children" (stamp design), but if You will try to obtain it from market - prepare 0.26 euro for any single stamp, prices is not small for it - because almost no one will have it to offer!!!!

With this - we finished 2010 year issue - on this blog You will not see (yet) Davis Cup issue and FIFA issue, which will be added at the moment when I will have it.

10-2010 Classic Car:

Official name for this issue are "Motoring", that hardly match this topic, I can say that it is just "Classic Car" because 55 year is long enough to mark one car like "classic"! Here is talking about Zastava 750 type, that was once symbol of Yugoslavia advance in technology and industrialization, where this car are made on the base of Fiat 600D type. In Yugoslavia it was one family car! can You imagine it! Family car! I have very problem (at the time when I lived there) to manage driving, and when I was just sitting on the back seat, it was very unpleasant experience - but, I enjoy to travel across Yugoslavia, where I and my friends know to travel more than 2000 km in one way with this small machine. I miss it even today! Final day of this car production was grave - whole factory are sold to Turkey, and final car go down in production some ten or twenty years ago, when "new world order" come to Yugoslavia.

One single stamp issued, FDC and CM follow. Date April 8, 2010 - face value is 0.26 $, affordable and hardly that will reach some big catalog value - quantity printed 128 000, I think, more than need! printing sheet is 25 stamp.

11-2010 Fauna - City Birds:

One nice issue from Serbia, not of great importance, but still nice. Pictured are: Pigeon Highflier (Columba Livia), Great Tit (Parus major), House Sparrow (Passer domesticus), Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros).

In background of each stamp are panorama from cities: Belgrade, church in Krushevac, fortress in Nish and Subotica view. Issued on April 12, 2010, with quantity printed 38 000 sets, printing sheet of 5 with tab on middle of set of 4 - something that made little problem for collectors who want to have set with tab, because it is 5 set with each tab in different way - that made whole picture - You can not separate it if You want to keep picture intact. Face value for set is 1.79 $, but very small quantity printed will made prices go up.

12-2010 Industrialization - Thermo Power Plant:

Hardly that Greenpeace will agree to issue one coal power plant on stamp, but - people think differently! This issue is hardly of some significance, it celebrate 140 year of industrialization of Serbia, this is very questionable! In this period of 140 year, it was Serbia, Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro and finally just Serbia independent - and I will ask, who have credit to say: "We made industrialization"? Nothing worth to mention, simple issue of one stamp, Kostolac view, one of main air pollutant in Serbia! Worth to put it on postage stamp? face value is minimal of 0.26 $, for sure You will obtain it less than face value on exchange basis. Quantity printed standard - 38 000 stamp.

13-2010 Europa - Children's Book:

Here I can say, that Serbia beat all other countries, that made this issue, in design - it is so great, nice, eye-catching, beautiful and in the end - educational! It is made with whole hearth of designer N. Skochajic! All respect to her - and people that made it happen. I saw many issue with this topic, some are neo-advanced, some are simple, some are ugly - but Serbian are best!

Issue on May 5, 2010 - that actually match nature - May months when all nature flower and all come green out there - Serbian Post issue one really good set! I must copy this sequence from FDC: "...The imagination creates a new world over which reign other laws of man (human) and nature...".

Printed quantity is again small - just 60 000 set, I see in Program for 2010 that it was planned set and s/s - but still go out just set (?) - probably someone know what happen? S/S was planned to be printed just in 25 000 pieces - but if didn't occur it must be just because of some "grey" play in! God know, but in the end we will find true!

Face value are not small - set are 1.70 $ - think that You will need in collection set, set with tab and probably sheet of 8 plus tab - than - prepare somewhere between 30-40.00 $ to pay! In scan You can see one FDC officially issued and also one FDC that are private made - for this second You will need to pay much more like official issue!

Postage due 2-2010:

Here I don't have any information about date of issue, but it is "like usually" issue for Red Cross and next one for European Championship in water-polo, that is held in 2010. Small face value of each is 0.11 $. Stamp for water-polo are nicely design, suggest to have it!

Now, I wish to inform other collectors and especially people who collect and specialize in Serbia - I hear some rumors, that there is going some "dirty" game on with Jugomarka Company! Someone informed me that, Jugosmarka are doing business illegally - that they have no licence to issue postage stamp, that they are one-one-know owned by, that they are not registered in legally - and go on reason why it must be closed down! Probably some "smoke" are there, because we see it in difference in Program for 2010 - where have some issue not printed in way described, and again some rumors regarding FIFA Football Championship (see picture of this one cover) - where is planned just one set of 2 stamp, but after FIFA insist, it is added also s/s, planned was printing sheet of 8 stamp plus tab - but I hear that it is printed in sheet of 5 - in the end, someone informed me that whole issue will come late because objection from FIFA (about royalties for use of logo) - let's wait and see what will happen!

Europa 2010 issue:

It come on May 5, 2010, with surprisingly nice design, that I didn't see in many countries. Theme for this year Europa issue are "Book Illustration" that give us lot of space to made one really good issue. To my sorrow, not many countries made it!

At present, I have just this postally used cover FDC with regular and first day issue cancel, it is also "R" mail, with Serbian and Israel bar code, stamp drawing are really great.

What is problematical - it is face value, that have it at 66.00 and 77.00 Serbian Dinar (as today, May 14, 2010, it is 1.81 US$) - no one of it math any postal rate in Serbia, and many people ask what for they made this face nominal? My personal opinion are that it is simply, just to made clear profit, because hardly that this issue will be used in regular mail around country. Probably, will be shortage with low value of 66.00 dinar, because this will be used for mail delivery outside mainland (with additional stamp) and this will result in shortage of same stamp on market.

What made me suspicious about this issue, is that it come out but with difference from originally planned program on the start of year. In program, it is stated that face value will be 33.00 and 66.00 face value dinar, but it come out with 66.00 and 77.00 dinar! Second surprise come, that originally is planed set and s/s - in the end it come without s/s - that give us some suspicion that "game" are in option! Probably on the market we will see also imperforated issue, or issue with other face value that will be claimed like proof or revoked print - let's wait and see.

Topical collectors will have an hard time to obtain this issue, specially that it is printed in 60 000 quantity (from program information) not issued s/s was planed to print in 25 000 quantity. Now if You take in that it can be many topic (flora, fauna, children, Europa) - this will be (60 000 pcs printed) very hard to obtain - I think just first collectors who have direct connection with post of Serbia, and collectors directly inside Serbia, will have issue - but who will "think and wait" - probably will be left without this nice stamp.

Let's made also some math: if it is really 60 000 printed, when divide it with 8 (it is printed in sheet of 8 + 1 tab) we will have 7500 printing sheet issued, and don't forget, that many specialized collectors of this country, will obtain also printing sheet (kleinbogen) in personal collection - with 7500 of it on market, hardly that some will reach post office for regular issue.

Because that, I can ranked this issue in "buy it now" grade!

5-2010 "Olympic Committee of Serbia":

issued on Feb. 23, 2010, with one single stamp issued to celebrate this occasion, one nice jubilee that no many countries around globe have. Design are little bit more "modern" than need - because many "simple" collectors and ordinary people will visually decide about "worth or worth-not" stamp, and this design have number "100" in very "fragile" manner shown! But - probably other people will like it. Like I told, one stamp, face value low, around 0.30 US$, comfortable for any collector with sport topic.

6-2010 "World Expo Shanghai 2010":

Great! you can not see it well here, because I made just 300 dpi scan, but if You need better scan - just ask me, I will send it to You - on sheet of 10 stamp, You can see great detail of design, visual effect, artist work well done - this issue can be in many topic, starting from architecture to art, artist really made "hard work" for this issue! Issued on Feb 26, 2010, to celebrate World Expo in Shanghai, P. R. of China - and it is 110 yr of first Expo presentation of Serbia! Not bad for one small country - You agree? Here we have set of two stamp, face value of 1.05 US$ also affordable for collectors worldwide - yes, dealer will ask more, even more for sheet of 10 stamp - but, it is just for specialized collectors, who will need more that 20.00$ to buy this sheet of 10. I think - it is worth!

7-2010 "Frederic Chopin":

200 yr of birth, famous, great, and here it stop - what he have common with Serbia? Nothing - but, philately will ask to do it - I, in principle agree - but not "must be" for one country to issue it. Let's see which mistake existed on back of FDC - there is one explanation, that this great man are born in Poland and after that come statement that this first western composer to incorporate Slavic element!!?? Let's be nice - if he is born in Poland, he can not be western composer - he can be just and just eastern composer, say what You want - fact is fact. Single stamp, face value 0.68$ - affordable, but dealer will take more!

8-2010 "Easter":

I like it - every single year they show us nice stamp and nice topic, that fit in "fresque" or "icon" topic. Two stamp in set, nice design, nice work - keep it in collection! face value at 0.93 $ - probably not for investment, but for collection is worth. Issued on March 2, 2010 - hope that Serbian Post will continue with nice design.

9-2010 "160 yr Military academy":

Again one good celebration, not just good but important! Design can fit to "Flag on Stamp", "Coat of Arms", not bad at all design! One stamp, face value of 0.30 $ affordable - I think that it will never reach "important" status in catalogue - but will fit in any serious collection! date of issue is March 18, 2010.

Postage Due 2-2010:

Here I can not say lot, just that it is "Anti-Cancer", like usually every year - no date of issue, and hardly that dealer will give You without 0.50$.

Now I need to go - today is Independence Day of Israel (April 19, 2010 - 62 year of Israel) - and out is great celebration - children will like it and go for joy!

1-2010:

NIN Journal, issued Jan 26, 2010, with one single stamp, celebrating 75 year of this weekly magazine. When I lived there in Yugoslavia, it was my favorite journal, because of hios neutral nature, and good journalist work done. It rise from begining with only 50 000 copy and on hight of history it come to 150 000 copy distributed. This single stamp have low face value, just around 0.30 $, but You will pay nearly 10% premium to obtain it from dealer - not "big deal" at all. Quantity printed are still "in frame" for country of around 6 mil. - it is 38 000 copy, that will be, probably, distributed around post branches for franking mail - hardly that collectors will "run" for it, because topic are less attractive.

2-2010:

China New Year (Year of Tiger), that are issued on Jan 27, 2010 - follow many country that celebrate this occasion - with, by my opinion, little bit "more than need" use of color - it nearly "hide" main topic (tiger) from space of stamp! Issue have set of 2 stamp, and even that I expected also to be with sheet - it didn't happen. Printed just set, in printing sheet of 25, face value around 1.01 $ - for this issue - enough money to spend. When talk about quantity, they made progress and printed 78 000 sets, probably thinking for more need on collectors side, because of topic that are popular around globe.

3-2010:

Nature Protection, like usually for every year - this issue didn't come like surprise. probably surprise are format printed, where we have same stamp in set, sheet and sheetlet of 8+1 tab, that will just ask more investment from collectors. I don't think that You will find it in use on regular mail, also because topic and also because face value that are around 1.86 $. Quantity printed are little bit in disproportion, because 22 din face value are printed in 528 000 copy, and second value just 78 000 copy, sheet is just 38 000 copy - how it will result on market is unknown, but I think that no impact will be seen!

4-2010:

Winter Olympic, Vancouver - Issued on Feb 12, 2010, to celebrate this occasion - nice design, but Olympic emblem really didn't fit at all, but it is not in "hand" of stamp designer, who made good job with this issue. Simple set of 2 value, valued at 1.05 $ - to obtain sheetlet of 8+1 tab I will suggest to all collectors - simple, it is nice to have it in any album, and will worth after year-two, around 25.00 euro in Michel catalogue. Quantity are again 528 000 for 22 din value, and just 78 000 for 50 din value.

Postage Due 1-2010:

Two stamp this time, one for "Street to Children" and second "Roof for Refugee" - in minimal face value of 0.13$ per one - date of issue I don't have in evidence but I see on stamp, that "Street for Children" come from 2009 year, and "Roof for Refugee" are from 2010 year.

FINA Water Polo Champ, issued on Oct 10, 2009, held in Rome this year, where Serbian national team take gold medal, issued one single stamp, with face value around 0.68 US$, but hardly that You will buy it from dealer for less than 1.50 US$, not because it is rare or something else, but because other expenses that dealer have. By exchange, You will have it for face value. Design is common for this topic, and I don't see any other possibility to made this stamp look better - simple as can be.

21-2009:

FINA World Champ - Golden Medal, issued same day like Water Polo, but this one come to 2 value in set, celebrating Nadja Higl - Golden medal winner, and european record in 200 meter breaststroke, second value is for Milorad Cavic - also golden medal winner. face value for this two value are low, some 1.37 US$, but again, dealer will sell it for 2.50-3.00 US$, depending on quantity and option, because this set is printed in sheetlet of 8+1 tab, that for sheetlet (kleinbogen) You0 will pay premium, also set with tab will take more money.

22-2009:

Stamp day, Michel Catalogue. Issued on Oct. 23, 2009, to mark 100 year of Michel catalogue, "reliable adviser for collectors" - I like this definition for catalogue any kind. Single stamp, with portrait of Hugo Michel, and cover issue of first edition, FDC are well arranged with photo of Michel catalogue 2009 edition and catalogue page for Serbia 1866 issue. If it is not stamp, I will say - good advertising label - not more than that. Face value is standard 46.00 SD, around 0.68 US$ - nice for collector of stamp on stamp, personalities.

23-2009:

Museum Exhibit - "Dinosaurs of Argentina - Giants of Patagonia", issued on Nov. 9, 2009, set of 2 value, face value some 1.01 US$, but here prepare to pay it twice face value to any dealer around, design are one of better for this year, and FDC are well made with good drawing of dinosaur Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis, and Giganotosaurus carolinii. CM are same good design and worth to obtain now, because with time this set can cause shortage on market. Printing sheet of 9+1 tab, will be even more hard to obtain, because serbian Post still keep low quantity printed.

24-2009:

Christmas - Like usually, religious motifs, that I agree with! Many countries around globe, made childrens drawing to celebrate this holiday, but - it is religious holiday, and I thing, that most appropriate will be to issue same religious motifs on any stamp with this topic. This time, Serbian post decided to show us fresque from Krusedol monastery, which have great 500 yr of existence - can You imagine it - 500 great year, not every country can say it! Almost every foreign army that occupied Serbia made some kind of destruction for this monastery, but it rise again and again from down. Set have two value, with each show us one fresque. 22 RSD is "Christ's Birth" from 1749 yr, and second 46 RSD is "Epiphany" from same 1749 yr. By my opinion, great work on original fresque, but hard work for stamp designer - because of dimension of original picture/fresque - to put it on stamp, almost impossible to show us beauty of it. Face value for this two stamp are also 1.02 US$, nothing big for collectors of this topic.

17-2009 - Train, 125 year of Train in Serbia:

Issued on Sept. 8, 2009 - set of 2 value, face value are 68 Serbian Dinar, that will be some near 1.10 US$, not so big investment for collectors that are specialized in this topic, but if they will wish to have an printing sheet of 10 - they will need to prepare some bonus to pay, because sheetlet are more attractive, and low quantity printed, that Serbia still practice. I think that this issue come with visible "coming down" in artist work effort. It have symptoms of "home work must be done" and compare it with "Orient Express" issue - it is really big difference. FDC have an map on it, that will show us train line from Belgrade to Nish (Nis) - and significance are great - because 125 year of train lane are lot of time and history - many european countries don't have this history of existence - and small Serbia have an train line!

18-2009 - Joy of Europe:

I really don't like it! Good name of issue, and intention also - but let see what is on stamp - it is one drawing of Danah KG, from Unated Arab Emirates. I was always thinking that "Joy of Europe" will serve first local childrens drawing, it in the end show that I'm not correct - what to do, human will learn all the way in life and die stupid - isn't?

I go further, and see that motif on the vignette is Bengkel KKK from Indonesia and also Young Artist Art Centre from Egypt! Oooooo - now it come some suspicion - are Serbian postal Authority handling some "good will" to other (Muslim populated) countries - or local children are less attractive, or perhaps didn't come with quality drawing that will give them place on this issue?

As is - is, one single stamp in issue, face value of 46 dinar, mean some 0.75-0.80 US$, expensive for un not attractive stamp - hope that Serbian Post will use it in regular post franking.

19-2009 - "Golden Pen":

Issued to celebrate 50th Anniversary of the International Exhibition "Golden Pen"! Sept. 21, 2009. And lot of "????????????" - what that mean for human population? I'm reading from FDC back side explanation: "...oldest exhibition of this kind in Europe...". See - I'm also very near of 50 - but I never hear about this exhibition and never know that it is very important for Serbia alone! Design? Not so "big deal" - except that if someone collect "mouse" on stamp, they will have one more in collection - face value also low - just 22.00 dinar - somewhere around 0.34 US$ - tell me who will order it?!

it is two small stamp, for solidarity week, "Red Cross" - children, mother - and total 20.00 dinara face value. Like usually for this items - good intention, I will be glad to know if money collected really reach children in need! Hope that yes!

11-2009 Church:

Here we will start with few new issue recently printed, and start with this, let's say, "normal" issue. It come in occasion of 70 year of Saint Sava Temple, on Vrachar (Vracar), Belgrade, Serbia. One single stamp like usually, face value of 0.31 US$, nothing that will attract collectors, but FDC is made well. Issued on May 9, 2009.

12-2009 European Nature Protection:

Continuing with this series, every year, I personally don't like it, because this is mostly draving of nature around Serbia, but just draving, with poor artist expression, that don't present beauty of Serbian places - on this set, two value, is presented Uvac river and Pcinja valley, one of few untouched places that is worth to visit. This two stamp, face value of 0.97 US$ - will worth more in Michel catalogue, and sheetlet of 8 set with tab on middle have another problem for collectors of Monastery topic. Issued on May 20, 2009.

13-2009 The battle on Chegar (Cegar):

I don't know why Serbian Post have this kind of artistic expression on stamp?! See which kind of it is! One small dimension of stamp, with painting of battle, that is IMPOSSIBLE to put it in visible manner on the small paper! This issue degraded one nice "way" that Serbia have in stamp design. two stamp in set, face value of 0.97 US$, good for collectors that collect cheap stamp. But, from history point, it have an significance for Serbian - this battle made one great history and give Serbian vision to the future of liberalization and freedom from Ottoman Empire. Issued on May 29, 2009.

14-2009 Serbian Classical Musicians:

Hardly that someone will recognized any of them, because in Yugoslavia they didn't care about advertisement and show, they focused on quality, here come issue of 8 stamps/persons that leave one great work in music history. Ljubica Maric, Vasilije Mokranjac, Kornelije Stankovic, Josif Marinkovic, Miloje Milojevic, Mihovil Logar, Petar Konjovic and Stevan Hristic made it on stamp. Design is in classical manner, thinking to made it "black and white" - with nice yellowish background - thinking nice. Face value are same for each stamp, but together will have it on 2.51 US$ - that is not too much. Issued on May 29, 2009.

15-2009 Studenica Monastery Icon:

Here we come across one significant issue, design is not so big "class" like some previous issue with "Icon" topic, printed in ZIN Printing plant, that is little shifting from Forum Printing plant - but, occasion are great! It is 800 year of painting in Studenica Monastery - great 800 year!!!! Small Serbia, that suffered lot in history, with all great and not-so-great power in globe wishing to erase Serbian country, and they stay JUST with monastery painting for 800 year! Show me other countries that have this great achievement, this great history. I'm sorry to see just one stamp in set, but let it be. Face value standard 0.31 US$. Issued on June 8, 2009.

16-2009 Science and Scientist:

Important topic, that Serbia join other countries with this issue - and start with Charles Darwin, Pierre Curie, Dimitrije Putnikovic and Pavle Savic. For first two, I believe that every one know them, and nothing to talk about, they are well know for our civilization, but let's talk about other two - local, Serbian scientist. Pavle Savic - physicst, chemist, that have work with I. J. Curie on atomics experiments. Second is Dimitrije Putnikovic - teacher and pedagogue, that work mostly in "children's" sphere of education. Nice issue that mark Serbian history. Set of 4 stamp, with good design on FDC, stamp alone can be much better done - but, like is will satisfy collectors. face value is standard of 1.94 US$, but sheetlet of 10 stamp will need much more than just face value. Keep it in Your possession if You can - because Michel catalogue will value it much-much more than triple face value - also quantity are less than satisfactory - 28 000 set!!!! How much it is in sheetlet of 10? Just 2800 - not enough, but will have good catalogue value. Issued on June 22, 2009.

Postage Due 3-2009:

Here I will be very short, one stamp go for Red Cross, one for church S. Sava on Vrachar (Belgrade) and one - that will be hard to put in postage due, is for King Aleksandar Ist Karadjordjevic. I don't think that any country in this world, downgraded king with one small dimension stamp! All three stamp have face value of just 0.31 US$, Issued - I still don't have exact date!

Judaica issue from 2008 year:

In my previous pages - I mentioned this issue in "Postage Due 2008", (see page: Postage Due 2009, dated March 13, 2009), and made one "notice" after, when I received some information from my friend in Belgrade. Today, I come across one Auction House in Belgrade, and to my surprise, I see that I was little bit wrong, to classify this stamp in "personalized stamp"!!

But I was very wrong!

9.IX.2008. Jewish historical museum in Belgrade and Post of Serbia, have issued a INSTITUTIONAL POSTAL STAMP of 20 din, on which the MENORA is shown, a typical Jewish religious symbol - a seven armed candlestick, carved on roman bricks found at the archaeological site Celarevo. It was determined that a tribe know as Hazars lived there, retreating from the areas of today's South Russia before the warrior nomad tribes. Stamp was printed in circulation of 200 items in sheets of 25 pieces. On same occasion the provisional invitation was printed - in form of postal card in circulation of 100 items. VERY RARE.

Someone can explain me this? Probably "Judaica" specialist around globe can help me? In most optimistic day, I will never imagine that this stamp, face value of 20.00 Serbian Dinar, will have one starting prices of 320.00 euro!!!

I know that permission is given to print this stamp, and in same Auction Catalogue, I saw one sample where is this stamp used. It was on "Exhibition Invitation Card" that are delivered by post, to some VIP people, but what I see on this card is use of stamp, more like "additional" postage due, or probably (because I don't know postage rate for this kind of mail), it is used in combination with regular postage stamp, that can be mostly true.

If it is really official, that mean, major catalogue will include it in, that will have great impact on prices! starting prices of 320.00 euro is really great, also just 200 copy printed is really great - but what about collectors????

8-2009: Art - issued on April 6, 2009 - They chose to celebrate three artist from Serbia, with three stamp in set, each artist have one main work.

Start with low denomination, 22.00 dinar, it is 100th Ann. of birth artist Milena Pavlovic Barilli. She was daughter of Italian composer Bruno Barilli. This stamp show us main work named "Self Portrait with a veil", from 1939 yr.

Second value of 46.00 dinar is work of Jovan Bijelic, celebrating 125th yer of birth. Stamp is his art work named "Dead Nature with Parrot" - and third value is also 46.00 dinar, with art work of Paja Jovanovic, work named "The Young Woman in Pink Dress". This three stamp in set have an 1.62 $ face value, but on market it will come almost to 3-3.50 euro, depending on who sell and where, Design of three FDC (3-7.00 euro market prices) are even more better done than stamp alone, and if You wish to invest - buy sheet of 10 (valued around 35.00 euro).

9-2009: "Universiade sport event" - issued on March 31, 2009 - to commemorate sport event "Universiada" - that are held in Belgrade this summer. Sport event start on 1-12th July and have one record of athlete from 170 countries and 200 disciplines. Two stamp in series, with logo and mascot of event, nice artist design, but I can say - little bit childish art work for this importance. Set of two have an face value of 22.00 + 46.00 dinar, that is around 1.00 $, but again, dealer will charge You minimum 2.00 euro. Both stamp can be included in many topic - from athletics, tennis, basketball and other sport, and for FDC prepare 2-4.00 euro, sheet of 8+tab will take from You 15-18.00 euro.

10-2009: "EUROPA - Astronomy" - Here I will shout: "Thanks SERBIA for this nice issue"!! One of best that I can see around all countries in Europe. Issued on May 5, 2009 with two stamp, face value of 46.00+50.00 dinar (little bit more expensive but still affordable) - it is around 1.37 $ - but hardly that You will have it from dealer for less than 2-3.00 euro! Reason? Here is it - quantity printed is just 60 000 set (just less than 9 000 sheet of 8), think that most dealer will subscribe for more than 50 set of this issue, which will result in shortage on market. Who was that statue on stamp? Goddess URANIA, protector of Astronomy, and on other stamp we have Galileo's telescope and Milky Way, radio-telescope and nebula Horse Head. Quantity printed is around "middle" of practice that Serbia have, less than that quantity have just issue of less importance (28 000), and more important issue (for Serbian Authority) have quantity printed of 528 000 maximum. Why they decided to print just 60 000 pieces - I think because prices (higher value) and also to keep future catalogue value, that will constantly rise because of demand. For FDC prepare more than 4.00 euro, and sheet of 8+tab will cost You darly - 25-30.00 euro depending of dealer. I can suggest You just one simple way - if You have trading partner, exchange partner - take it twice You need - because if You will go to dealer - You are finished!

5-2009: Ecology - Joint issue with Bulgaria, issued 2/III/2009, with two stamp in set and one block (of same two stamp), one nice paiting, I can not say that it is not, but I can say, that existed many other way to make this issue more better than is now. It is drawing, it is far away from painting or art. Face value for this set and block is around 0.75 euro, sheet of 10 will made it 15.00 euro and FDC from Serbia only will cost You 1.72 euro, but FDC with Bulgarian issue will be hardly available around market.

6-2009: Easter issue, dated 9/III/2009, I will not use hard word, but it is one ugliest that I have in stock! WHY to downgrade quality that was in good shape? WHY to use this wood carving instead of beautiful Icons that existed around Serbian Monastery in Serbia? Probably someone didn't like when Serbia go to upper scale with quality and decided to damage little bit! Face value is same like previous issue just 0.75 euro, but hardly that it will reach this prices in any future catalogue - simple vasting!!!

7-2009: Great Serbian Artis, dated 17/III/2009, with 6 stamp in set. According dimension of stamp, it look like that economy in Serbia is improving, they have money to print stamp on "label" dimension, and to be fair also in "label" design! Nothing worth to say, no quality or artist imagination show here. Face value are in lower scale, just 1.87 euro per set, but loking for quality, I think that it is too much!

Postage Due 2-2009: Standard issue for Anti-Cancer, probably someone will made collection just with this small size stamp, it can be nice and cheap, because postage due have an face value of 0.10 euro, but it is all.

Postage Due 2009:

Here is coming first few of it, but i will put here also one issue from 2008 year, which I received today, and it is connected with Judaica Postal Exhibition, held in last year in Belgrade - which i don't remember exactly date - I saw catalogue for this exhibition, but just now obtained one stamp probably issued on this occasion in very low face value of some 0.20 euro but I don't know if it is freely sold on market or just sold with catalogue at the day of exhibition - probably someone know?

Finally - today I have information about this stamp! It is personalized stamp, that was permited for use on the day/period of exhibition, and printed just 200 copy of it, printing permision for postal transport are given. They will be really rare, and we need to wait next year edition of major catalogue, to see if it is accepted from collectors side.

Starting 2009 year with: Critics! Why? I'm looking on Issue Programme for 2009 yr - first what I see is very-very big quantity printed! Some rising in quantity will result in low catalogue value - for sure! Serbian Post previous period printed around 35 000 set per issue, and now they go to 10-20x more!!!! It is first sign of inflation - You don't think?

1-2009 "Luis Braille":

how much I see - it will be common issue around globe, possible because 200 yr of birth, and importance - Serbia same participate in it with one stamp in set, relatively good design, but much less good than previous year - they even missed to print it with relief characters that are basic for this letter. Like I say, one stamp in set, face value of around 0.45 euro, affordable, and FDC will fit in all collection. Issued on 5/I/2009.

2-2009 "Zabavnik Journal":

Oh - I remember this Journal for Young population that also old people read with joy! My opinion is that it is an unnecessary issue - but nice to have also stamp for this journal - why not, if people have money to buy it - but, tell me - who today thing to spend some money on issue that will not math any major topic?

One stamp in issue, with very cheap 0.23 euro face value - affordable for all. FDC design is really like journal itself, full of color with main character from journal on it - at all, nice drawing - worth to have.

3-2009 "Hedgehog Journal":

For which one that I never hear! What's for? No any significance except 75 year of issue - and design!!!! Terrible mistake by Postal Authority! Can You recognize what is on stamp? Modern or old Don Cihotte? Sundown in desert? What people with search for it, which collection to include it - oj-vaj-voj - that will be failure at all even that face value are low just 0.20 euro, but even that I will not spend! Issued on 5/I/2009.

4-2009 "Protected Animal":

Thanks God - again some "sun" back! Great in all aspect - set of four stamp, two FDC, sheet of 5 set gutter between on sheet - how to obtain all combination of gutter except to purchase full sheet - and it will cost You. Set alone is face value of 1.50 euro, but on market prices are as follow: set = 3.50 euro, set + gutter between = 5.00 euro, FDC = 3.50 euro and full sheet of 5 set = 20.00 euro! say what You want - but I think that it is worth this money - see just artist work, he invested soul in it. What is on stamp? Harvest Mouse, European Ground squirrel, Ermine and Southern Birch Mouse - I think good to have!

Issued on 16/II/2009, and printed 128 000 set (mean around 25 000 sheet of 5 set available, less for FDC use - left on market around 20-22 000 sheet of 5 set).

SERBIAN POST ABROAD - CORFOU:

I will say true, that in this field I'm really weak! But, I wish to show one nice sample of Postal Card, with cancel, that are in use at the time, by Serbian Post abroad (It sound like Serbian Empire, but this is an sad part in Serbian history where many-many Serbian civilian and soldier die in fighting for freedom).

What I learn from some catalogue is not lot, many catalogue have little information about this sad period from Serbian history, and some catalogue mention just envelope with postage (French) stamp on, and some even didn't mention it at all.

This sample (shown front and back side) are used on 1918 year, delivered from Corfou (Greece) to Dijon (France), with nice clear cancel. What I know from catalogue is that Serbian Post abroad existed between 1916-1918, and used French postage, with two kind of cancel, one that was obligatory "Ministarska Postanska Stanica" (Ministry Post Station) and second "Postes Serbes" that are placed sometimes over stamps, sometimes near stamp on cover. Normally - for this rare material, and because this material are important in Serbian history, fake are frequent on the market, and this is reason why to be very careful when purchasing online, preferable is to buy it with certificate and from trusted dealer. I see on eBay, that material from this period are valued very high, starting bid for rare items, are from 100-200 BP (British Pound) - Post Card shown have less than that, because it is common, and without certificate, but again will have an really good starting bid of 35-45 US$ - risky to buy, but worth to take chance. Premium price will be on postally used cover with rare destination, with two cancel + one more for censor mark which are common in black color, rarely in red.

Common cover, with French postage, set of 14 value on yellow paper, that will be very hard to complete, can reach more than 300.00 Euro on free market, and on white paper will have an premium of 20-25% more. Violet cancel will take another 20% premium, and if You will find this cover with Greek postage it will be miracle! More of this will reach samples with more than one stamp on it, also porto postage, mixed postage - all this will have an nice premium on market. But again, be very careful - fake samples are on market!

18, 19, 20-2008:

Heading to end this 2008 year, it come last three issue. By my opinion, it is one "simple" issue, and by my opinion absolutely unnecessary! Also design show us one symptom that all Serbian have, and it is that nothing they can not made "till the end" correctly. This symptom is visible everywhere - from life to art - they will do job properly all the way, but when they feel that end is near - things will be done poorly!

What is good for this year - is just quantity printed, Serbian Post keep one best policy to protect also philatelist, and also future catalogue value for own stamps - it is printed around 30-50 000 quantity, that is one offset for REALLY market need - subscribers and little to the post offices for use - all what need to be done, this way, new mint issue will have one real catalogue prices, and used material will be very hard to find and complete one collection in used condition will be even more harder.

18-2008: come to celebrate 60 yr of convention for Danube Navigation, what is need to celebrate this occasion i don't know! They have every year "Danube convention" issue, and now one "sub-issue" for same topic? Issued on Nov 20, 2008, one single stamp, view of Belgrade and one ship, from "long distance" - nothing good to say, face value just less than 1.00 US$ - affordable but who collect it?

19-2008: Christmas issue, that I never liked - here we have two stamp, showing us one icon and one painting, issued on Nov 28, 2008, two face value of together 66.00 dinar, something around 1.50 US$, that will be good for collectors of "Icon", "Christmas" issue - but hardly that will reach some "good" prices in future!

20-2008: Dadov Theatre - Even that I'm native of Yugoslavia, Serbia, Vojvodina - I never hear of this theatre! I never hear that it have so great significance for Serbian population and have any "standing" in Serbia! Possible in today's time, withs someones "good connection" they managed to have one stamp like this printed. Issued on Dec 5, 2008, with really small face value of less than 0.50 US$ - no big deal at all!

16-2008, 17-2008:

16-2008 is for 125 year in First telephone in Serbia! 125 years - not short time - isn't? Great achievement - and so poor design. First phone line are introduced JUST EIGHT AFTER invention of phone, it is really best for so poor country! And it thanks for Panta Mihailovich who made it live. On stamp is one combination of portrait of Panta and building in Belgrade where is first phone installed. First Day Cover design made it better visible and all collectors who collect "phone", "architecture" will like it. Stamp are issued on Oct. 24, 2008, face value are still low - 46.00 Serbian dinar - around 0.50 US$ - but dealer will ask 1.00 $ for single and 2.00$ for FDC that are still affordable for any one who collect it.

17-2008 is for "Children's Costume" - one really nice issue - nice in all aspect!!!! Design, format, colors - all are synchronized in well manner and taste. For Serbia Post, this format is not new, what is new that they now use 9 stamp and one tab, that made collectors little bit "angry" because one more combination are added to existing issue (single with tab), and one sheetlet (kleinbogen) of 9+1 will for sure rise expenses of every serious collector, but this issue deserve it.

On stamp are two kind of costume - one from Sumadija Region and second from Kumodraz region, it is two different kind of costome, well created and full of color palette. First Day Cover are really art work - see this scan, something great!

date of issue is Nov 11, 2008, face value little over 1.00 euro - but try to obtain it by this prices - no way! Set are selling for 2.00, FDC for 3.00 and sheetlet of 9+1 tab will ask full 30.00 euro at glance.

2008 Postage Due # 6, , 8, 9, 10:

Here I will be very short, because most information I miss from official in Serbia, what I know is poor information from stamp alone, but I will try my best.

RED CROSS - Solidarity week, in use for period I don't know, but according design, it is for "old age people" for sure, intention is to think and care about old people - nice intention!

Anti Cancer - portrait of Dr Avram Josif Vinaver, I don't know this doctor, but other collectors know, specially someone who specialized in this field, issue is like usually, and possible this small dimension stamp, don't have some "big attention" in collectors "sight".

Children's Week - I give this name of issue, because from picture on stamp, it is one boy in "Superman" pose, I think that role for this issue is to wake avarnees for children protection, from other newspaper I see that Serbia have an problem when is question of children's. Date on stamp for use are Oct 6-12, 2008, week like usually - where money collected will go is good question. Issue are in two format, one is adhesive format, perforated and second is self-adhesive imperforate.

For "Avala" RTV Tower - this one have an really good point, but I will prefer one regular issue, not "obligatory" week stamp - but one really issue for simple reason - that this tower are destroyed by NATO forces, totally without reason and need, simple destruction of civilian object that served population in Serbia, no one was charged, no one pay to this country any compensation, and no one pay to the victims family that are killed on the bombing! One moment that need to be remembered with much more attention than one small format stamp!

Prices for each are few cent on face value, but dealer will minimum ask of 1.00 $ per stamp, that are not so great deal!

Kosovo Autonomy Issue:

Something that I discovered recently, and because it is still Serbian Autonomy, I will placed it here, like sample of illegal issue from Serbian territory - someone will ask why labeled it like illegal????

So - existed some indication and fact that we (collectors and dealers, philatelist, brokers) can not ignore, and one of many are that:

a) Kosovo is still unrecognized from UN organization, EU didn't recognized it, and what is most important - UPU also didn't recognized it like independent country!!

b) I didn't find in any page around web, or on USPU web pages that USA Post give or agree to made one late joint issue with Kosovo Autonomy. If I don't made mistake, this issue are same like USA Scott B1 - issued 07/29/98, for which catalogue have an "low" value of 0.80 US$ - now when I search for this Kosovo Autonomy issue - I find that dealer and supplier from Serbia and Kosovo are asking not big money - but expensive prices of 1.65 euro per single (that are 65% up face value, not too much - normally charge are 2x face value), 5.85 euro for FDC and 22.00 euro sheet of 10.

c) Kosovo Autonomy have postage stamp issued by UN mission in Kosovo, and all issue have inscription "United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo" and this one issue (and some other issue from this year) have an inscription of "Republic of Kosovo" that is another one reason to call it illegal.

In the end - possible it will have some sale success around philatelist, because people collect also illegals!

14 and 15-2008, Grapes and Vine:

Here we come again with one beautiful issue from Serbia, I will pray that it continue this way to the future! One really nice art work, issued on Sept. 25 2008 with topic "Flora - Grapes and Vineyard of Serbia", set of 4 value + tab on middle - if you can, zoom this set and You will discover one really, but really original replica of grapes that are possible! Artist made it great and I'm even more fascinated with FDC cover - the colour of bottles and colour of vine, something that give wish to touch it, to smell it!

The stamp are devoted to four region in Serbia, that have one long tradition in making vine and grapes, even that vine from Serbia never reach some fame like French or Italian, but locally made vine and inside Serbian population this vine have one good standing, maybe because people from this region like locally made vine. And other product from this grapes are known in the Europe well, it is cognac and brandy that have even more bigger tradition like vine.

We have here also one design of FDC and one art in CM - just see and enjoy! Prices are not so big, by face value it is around 1.50 US$ for set without tab - but tell me how to separate tab from sheet of 5 set with 5 different tab on middle? And for sheet You will need little bit more, around 7.50 US$. Where come problem? It is for collectors that don't have access to directly obtain it from Post service, but must to use dealer - because this topic and quantity issued, it will be hard to obtain it in less than double face value.

15-2008 "Joy of Europe":

Even that this issue have an very good intention, I really don't like design and like what we see from scan, it is really poorly managed. I think that children's drawing are not something that can be ranged high! I understand intention, it is very good, it help to collect some income for Joy of Europe festival, it help to promote children's topic around globe - but to made stamp with better design is impossible - what to do? Nothing, keep support children's and this organization. This year it is just 1 value in set (?) - strange because usually it come in set of 2 (possible my supplier made mistake?) and face value are low - just less than 1.00 US$ - but again, dealer will ask double price, reason are still in quantity issued, and MOST issue from Serbia are sold very quickly.

11-2008 "Orient-Express" Train Line:

This one issue will be next to best - if I talk about Europa 2008 issue like best in this year, this one will be really close to this one if not equal - first it is really important to "writte in history" this train line that come from Paris to Strasbourg and continue to Munich, Wien, Budapest, Belgrade, Nis and finished in Constantinople. It is issued on 9 June, 2008, two value in set, with great artist work! I can say - well done!

Face value are 20 and 50 Serbian Dinar, it is around 1.40 US$ face value, but You will never "catch" this prices from any dealer, it will cost You minimum twice with good luck if you will be able to find it occassionaly on market - just on standing order from post or from your personal dealer You will manage to buy it.

12-2008 "50 year of Television - Belgrade":

I will not talk lot about this issue, yes it have significance for Serbia alone, but design is really "low profile", one "home work" for one art student class - nothing more. Issued on 16 June, one value, face value are around 1.00 US$, that You can obtain it from dealer in maximum 10-15% up to face value, really nothing special.

13-2008: "200 yr grand school - Belgrade":

Again one issue that have just significance for citizen of Serbia, because 200 yr of one Grand School is not "small" things - countries in United Europe even didn't exist for this long period, and one small Serbia have one school with 200 yr tradition - but, from Philatelist wiev, I think that existed many other way to celebrate this event, and more of it - with much better design! One value, face cost is low - 0.40 US$, I don't know what this school will benefit from this stamp, except that it will stay in history of philately forever. Issued on 10 July 2008, and market value will also stay low as can be.

#9-2008, "European Nature Protection":

issued on May 23, 2008 - two value, 20.00 and 46.00 serbian dinar, it will be somewhere around 1.32 US$ face value, but - BUT, dealer will not sell it less than 2.50 US$ per one set, reason is very clear (and I think justified) - dollar value are constantly low, chaos around oil and globally prices are rising for everything.

This issue commemorate Nature protection, that I believe are really very important, it have great connection with one fact, that human are more and more responsible for situation in nature, and that WE all forgotted simple thing - MOTHER NATURE, that have own law, own system and own punishment for human bean.

First stamp (20.00 Serbian Dinar) have picture of Vlasina Plateau, one beautiful, untouched place in Serbia where more than hundred spices of bird have place, and some rarest floral samples existed.

Second stamp (46.00 Serbian Dinar) placed Dewil's Town (Djavolja Varos) on it, this is one natural reserve place in central Serbia, recently proposed for "world heritage". To be fair, this stamp I don't like, because artist made it in little bit "confused" way, with mixing some "ill" colors - maybe it was intention because name of place alone.

Just to mention one error on FDC - on back side, where is explanation and article about this issue - one typo error occured, where is stated that two value existed, one with 46.00 dinar and second with 50.00 dinar - ectually it is just 20.00 and 46.00 - for collectors luck.

#10-2008, "EUROPA" - Letter-Mail:

Here I can say just "WOW" - unbelieve, Serbian Post made it well!!!! Great design, great message, great visual contact, in any aspect - well done! Congratulation to Nadezda Skocajic, designer - and people from administration that approved this issue. Issued on May 5, 2008, common topic for this year EUROPA issue around countries, but here is in picture explanation of all mean postal transport, all kind, vehicle, train, diligance, old ship and pigeon - covered all in one beautifful first day cover. I think that this issue will be very valued, because EUROPA issue alone, and specific from this Serbian, that like usually are printed in relatively low quantities (for EUROPA issue I think it will be around 50 000) - how it will fill all need of topical collectors that collect "stamp on stamp", "transportation" and other topic that appear on this issue.

Face value for this two stamp are around 2.00 US$, but - try it from dealer! Minimum that they will ask will be 6.00 US$ for set of two value, without tab - and because this issue are printed in sheet of 8+1 tab on middle, it will reach more $ for set with tab, and according my experience, sheet of 8+1 will cost around 48.00 US$ - I'm just pesimistic and little affraid, that this issue will go like issue from MOntenegro EUROPA from 2005 "Gastronomy" that today have few hundred euros on market.

7-2008 Protected Animal,

8-2008 Eurovision Song Contest,

Eurovision contest are held this year in capital of Serbia, Belgrade, and Serbian Post decided to take advantage of it with this issue, that I privately don't agree - not because it have something wrong in principle, but because if someone decide to celebrate something, or to made one "point" to remember something, I think that existed many more important thing than Eurosong. Yes - this year it is in Belgrade, because last year winner was Serbian team - but again, existed many more other, more important for history of serbian country, than this one.

Issue come on 11 April 2008, with one extreme high face value (by Serbian economic standard), and like I mentioned long time before, someone there like to use lot of color! This one issue also come with too much blue color in use, but overall - it can pass like good. Prices - prices!!!! Face value are too high for ordinary citizen of Serbia, sheet is 3.54 US$ face value and from dealer offer You will find it for double - full 7.50-8.00 US$, for FDC You will need to prepare 9-9.50 US$. Lot in any way - maybe Serbian Post want to be sponsor of this contest?

Protected Animal, issue like every year that Serbian Post made, this one, I can say, are made with great effort, and artist made it well! Four value, with deer, wild cat, badger and boar - made one good selection for issue! Issued on April 7, 2008 - face value are 132.00 Serbian dinar, transfered to $ it is 2.64 US$ for simple set, and what dealer say - full 5.50 US$ for simple set, and set with tab on middle dealer will ask 7.50 US$, more You will need for sheet of 5 set with complete tab intact on middle - for this one combination You will need 27.00 US$, and FDC will cost You (2 cover) will cost You 12.00 US$.

#6-2008: "Serbian Olympic Tennis Team"

Here we come to one issue, that by my opinion are "more than need" - simply, one serious authority, can not now celebrate one sport team, and other sport team to be left "out" of frame! It is even unfair inside this sport against other sportist that before made same or even better result, or that actually happen, that other from this team have an "personal" problem, because one are on stamp with face value less than other. This set have 5 stamp, with face value of 20.00, 30.00, 30.00, 40.00 and 46.00 dinar, together it is around 3.32 US$, again - Serbian Post made one more "game" with quantity printed - that are around 30-35 000 sets, when we made how much is it in sheetlet of 8+1 tab - 3-3500, too low quantity for one market and topic that are very popular today! Prices are now double on market, mean for set = 6.64 $, sheetlet of 8+1 tab = 53.12 $, and FDC will take from You 18.64 $ for 5 cover.

Stamp have pictures of tennis player, that are in top ATP list, Janko Tipsarevic are on 20.00 din, Nenad Zimonjic are on 30.00 din, Jelena Jankovic is on other 30.00 din, Ana Ivanovic are on 40.00 din, and Novak Dokovic is on higher face value - 46.00 din.

#3-2008 Easter:

Issued 21 March, 2008 with two stamp in set, like usually, design of Easter Egg, decorated with fresque. Stamp of 20.00 dinar and 46.00 dinar face value, it is somewhere around 1.50 US$, that will be sold at dealer prices almost twice, because of failing value of US$. This issue is well designed, and I can recommanded it to all who collect religious motifs - it will fit well.

100 year of International Swimming Federation, issued on 18 Feb, 2008, single stamp 50.00 din face value - 1.00 US$ - for sure, will cost in shop more than 2.00 US$, because topic and quantity issued, on stamp are Water Polo player in action, with (I don't know why) EU star symbol (?) but maybe author simply put this star without reason - it come in sheet of 8 stamp with tab on middle, that will be more expenses for collector, overall - stamp are nice and FDC come also in good planned design.

#5-2008:

XXIX Olympic Game in Beijing 20008, P.R. China - here I can say just "bingo" - Artist made it well! Two stamp, 46.00 dinar and 50.00 dinar - almost 2.00 US$ face value - You will not find it on market for less than 5.00 US$, and it is again issued on 8 stamp + tab on middle format, that will cost You even more, around 50.00 US$ for this sheet of 8+1 - this issue will be really popular and worth in any collection. Desing of stamp come from artist M. A. M. Kalezic, that on one stamp have an picture of tennis player and runners in action - with background of one stamp is Chiness Pagoda, and on second stamp is detail from art - woman. Even that I think - woman on this stamp looklike an "geisha" - but I'm not sure what "Japan" culture have to do with China Olympic - but it is artist decision and view. When talking about FDC - it is really great picture - Stadium, Building, Bird - all three element that fit well!!! Prefer to obtain it as soon as will be available for You - I'm affraid that this issue will have same "trouble" like one issue for football from Serbia and Montenegro, where sheet of 8+1 have an high catalogue value and this one will reach also - because that, it is worth to pay even double price today.

2008 postage due 1, 2, 3, 4, 5:

It is issued for "Stop to trading with human", really interesting way to fight woman and human traficking, which are today plague, mostly in Kosovo Serbian Authonomy, and other undeveloped countries. But most traficking that supply slaves for west european countries come from Kosovo where UN and other european forces control most of this black market.

Because that I see that Serbia try to rise this topic by issue that have an design of "toy theatre" person handling woman on rope, most is "funny" that on behind of "theatre" are "forest" from US $ banknote (I don't see there euros - why?).

One stamp issued, with face value of 10 Serbian dinar, for sure this stamp will be banned for use on Kosovo teritory, simply, because it will made some "bad feeling" in administration there, too much shame for Kosovo muslim and UN and NATO forces, that also use this "services".

It is also cheap in comparation to other issue, and dealer are asking 0.36 euros for this one stamp. I think it is an really interesting issue and worth to have.

#2: Precise date I don't have, but it is issued to commemorate WWI battle on Solun, it is one simple design, that we know from before, actually it is used on many occasion, mostly on postage dues, using statue from central square in Belgrade. This one have like usually, low face value of 10.00 dinar, it is around 0.20 US$, and dealers will sell it almost little bit more, let's say for 0.30 US$ You will have it in any quantity You need.

#3 and 4: again I don't have an precise date for this issue, but one is from "Week of Red Cross" issue, and second is for "Sveti Sava" Church in Belgrade (Vrachar) - typical like usually by design, with picture of Church Holly Sava and in second stamp is red cross symbol with human face on it.

I can say just common in all respect - nothing that have some "more" on it, and face value are low like need to be when post put hand to poeples pocket, even when it is in humanitarian intention. Both stamp have 10.00 serbian Dinar face value, that are together around 0.40 US$, and dealer will give it maybe 20-30% up of face value.

#5: Like usually at this time, and around this time, Serbian people are again in position (if they want or not - dosn't matter - it is democracy) to support construction of churches around. This one go for Sv. Sava (Vrachar - Belgrade) - not big money in face value, just 0.20 US$ per one, but, if someone in one week need to send 100 mail, it will cost him. Design is "like usually" - nothing more to say.

Here we start with first issue, "Art - Paiting" issue for 100 year of birth Pedja Milosavljevic, issue of two value, 20 and 46 Serbian dinar. It start with two work of this author, nice item to be included in every art collection.

Date of issue is February 4, 2008.

Face value in US$ is for set 1.20$, but dealer are asking 2.40$ for set, sheet have 10 stamp and market value are 24.00$ per two sheet of 10, Carte Maxime are also in two pcs and market value are 5.00 $, and for FDC need to be paid also 5.00$.

2-2008:

Not something great issue, but important for all collectors that collect "Archeology" topic, it celebrated 100 year of first systematic archeological excavation in Vinca site.

Neolitic period site, where is discovered most items from this period, and stamp have design of :Lady of Vinca" statue that are discovered there.

Date of issue are Januar 28, 2008. One stamp face value of 20 dinar, and selling for 0.72$, FDC will go for 2.72$.

30 and 31-2007 - this is final, last issue in 2007 year, and they made it in joint with Romania. I don't know if it will be and expanding topic from Serbian Post, but it is named "Port and Ships of Danube River", because Danube go around many countries, it have an open possibility to made every year one issue with this topic.

I think that s/s from this issue are good , but set is little bit "small detailed", missing something, I don't know what, but have it feeling that it miss something!

We have here some option from dealer regarding this issue, where set of 2 value will cost us 2.26 $, FDC is 3.26 $, sheet of ten identical stamp (2 pcs) will be worth 22.60 $, s/s from this issue, with ship topical collector interest will cost 4.00 $, and one great design from FDC Romania issue, with both stamp (Serbian and Romanian) attached on it will go for 8.00 $.

125 yr of Serbia-Japan relations:

Here is nice topic for collectors with personalities topic, king topic etc - it is issued with pictures of Milan I. Obrenovic (Serbia) and Meidji (Japan) - standard issue, nice in design - worth to buy.

Single stamp is selling for 1.66 euro, and sheet of 8+1 tab is selling for 15.00 euro.

28-2007 is for "Christmas", and again they made one poor issue, with stamp full of colors, without clear-cut picture, and hardly that someone will recognize this stamp like something worth to look! Set of 2 value will take from You 2.26 $, and FDC will go for 3.26 $.

29-2007 finally some light on design, and they made it well! Celebrating 50 year of launching SSSR's satellite "Sputnik", Serbian Post made one good design, with visible element, and I think worth to purchase it.

Single stamp will cost You 2.20 $, sheet of 10 identical stamp 22.20 $, FDC 3.80 $ - again, I think that even sheet of 10 will be worth to purchase.

Postage Due 5-2007

I really don't know why Serbian Post allow to himself to made such kind of ugly stamp and quality! First it issued "Children's week" in two technique, perforated and self-adhesive. Perforated is "so-so" but self-adhesive is really without any comment! No visible picture, full of "kish-kush" and no bright color! No - I don't think that someone will purchase it, and even prices are not so low, face is about 1.00 $ and dealer will ask 1.50 $ per one stamp.

25-2007 issue that are named "120 yr of Astronomic Observatory" - really nice tradition is small Serbia, almost 120 year, many country even didn't existed for this period and small Serbian have one Observatory and interest in astronomy - GREAT!

Design is not something special for this occasion, but acceptable, and one single stamp issued for it, will cost around 0.56 $ from dealer, FDC will go for 2.50 $, and sheet of 10 identical stamp will cost hefty 14.00 $.

26-2007 issued for "Stamp Day" and will suited stamp-on-stamp collectors, typical design, with no special printing, just too much yellow color in use. Dealer will ask for single stamp 1.30 $ and FDC will go for 2.79 $.

27-2007 here we come to one question: What for Serbian Post issue one set to celebrate Frida Calo artist/painter??? Except that she was an leftist and late President Tito liked her well, I don't think that something other reason existed to give her an place on Serbian stamp.

Set of 3 value, dealer will ask 3.20 $, FDC will be priced on 6.20 $ and sheet of 10 stamp each will take from You 32.00 $.

#21-2007 - joint issue with Austria, commemorating Danube fauna - White tailed Eagle.

Something that are really nice, from design to printing and first day cancel! Here are shown two FDC, one just from Serbia, and second is dual, stamp from Serbia and also Austria, with picture on FDC from panoramic wiev of Danube and map - something that must be included in every collection.

I don't know, if all FDC are made with dual country stamp, or just with single country, or both at moment, but it is fine product. Yes - difference in printing are visible, it is printed in Austria, and day of issue are Sept 7, 2007.

Prices in retail store are also high, for single need to pay 1.60 euro, single with tab, like usually twice, 3.20 euro, for FDC (just Serbian) - 2.50 euro, and dual FDC (alone) will cost You high 5.00 euro. And mortar blow will come from sheet of 8+1 tab on middle, for which You need 15.00 euro.

#20-2007 will go to Monastery, it celebrated 600 year from the construction of Kalenic monastery. Graphic designer is also from Belgrade, Skocajic, and if we analyze FDC design, it is in one standard design. Stamp alone is not so perfect, simple picture, from long distance and nothing else. But, here come sheet of 22 stamp and 3 tabs - here overall picture come to much better position. tab have one ornament, and two frescoes. Hard time for collectors!

#17, 18 and 19 in 2007:

It is really nice to see that Serbia come again with one really nice issue! This one (#17) is for Great Scientists, issued July 10, 2007, and have portrait of:

Giuseppe Occhialini (1907-1993) who is know in cosmic radiation field,

William T. Kelvin of Largs (1824-1907) - Kelvin scale, thermodynamics, electro statics, etc,

Dmitrij I. Mendeleev (1834-1907) - Periodic law, Periodic table, Gallium.

Just to mention, that for this three great person, something is common, one is born on 1907 yr, and two died in same, 1907 year!

Design are great! Jaksa Vlahovic from Belgrade made it nice - and, sheetlet of 10 stamp is perfect.

Three stamp in set, total 132 Serbian dinar face value (less than 2.00 euro), mean affordable for most collectors, FDC with "fine" design that will be perfect for topical collectors.

#18 is reprint issue of #1, Coat of Arms, difference is not so visible between first print and this one reprint, because no correction are made on design, not on year mark or else. Collectors will be confused - I see difference on quality printing (first issue are bright, clear printing) this reprint are less bright, and on different paper and glue!

Face value 20 dinar (around 0.24 euro).

#19 come for Art/Paiting person Petar Lubarda, 100 yr of. To be fair, not something that I like (design), but for sure, one issue that this artist deserve. Issued on July 27, 2007, designed by Mr M. Kalezic, Belgrade. Face value of 20 dinar (0.24 euro) - simple affordable.

By way - I received today Scott Stamp Monthly magazine, and loking on year stamp, cost by countries, where is stated that Serbia (independent) have in 2006 issued 21 stamp, face value 981.00 dinar (11.67 euro) and catalog (Scott) value of 31.45 US$.

15-2007: EYOF - Sport:

This nice issue come to IX European Youth Olympic Festival held in Belgrade-Serbia, issued on June 20, 2007, with nice FDC design and numbered block of 2 stamp.

Graphic designer come from Belgrade (Nadezda Skochajich), that made one good job.

Block have 2 stamps face value 2x46 dinar, and dealer are selling it for around 1.50 euro.

16-2007: Equestrian Sport - Horses:

One really "on center" issue, commemorating this sport, issued on June 28, 2007, designer Ana Kostic from Belgrade, set of 4 value + tab on middle, "hard" items for standard collectors because they will need all 5 set in sheet to complete tab picture. Serbia issue this format for long period, and it is difficulty for any collectors to have all issue in this format. Yes - they have prices in catalog, but far away from even face value needed to pay on day of issue.

Set alone is not so expensive, around 3.00 euro without tab on middle, but if You will need complete strip of 4+tab, it will rise to 6.00 euro per set. For full sheet of 5 set that mean 30.00 euro, not small money for new issue! FDC will go to full 6.00 euro.

Kossovo:

To start this chapter -need really be "fine tuned" because too much politics are involved in this topic.

Because I'm not of this kind people, I will say what I mean, even if it will offend some one's feeling.

I will start with two illegal issue, in principle - same way that Kossovo start to issue own postage stamp. From start, little bit history:

Like everyone educated, know well, that Kossovo are/is/will be SERBIAN territory, and after Yugoslavian civil war, Kossovo start to fight, by terrorist way, for independence that resulted in bombing Serbia by USA, NATO, EU forces - not clear why, but it happen - probably too much money are involved (rumors about Ahtisari, Allbright, Clinton and other corporation).

Finishing this bombing with installation of UN Administration over Kossovo (UNMIK), which give (without any coordination with Serbian authority) "green light" to issue postage stamp with Kossovo inscription. Because Kossovo are not recognized by UPU, stamp are classified in UN-Kossovo.

Illegal issue like this Dinosaurs set, Princess Diana, Cat, Europa, Sportist, Pamella Parker, Nature and other topic, start to pop-up on market from 1997, 2000 and continue till today, Kossovo are most affordable for all kind of manipulators and "private" editors of this stamp, for simple reason, that NO any kind of order existed on this Autonomy - UN are unable, and in most cases corrupt to stop this illegal activity, and also more criminal activity in other sphere.

Where is printed this issue, who, how, no-one know, but it can be delivered like 50:50 if focused on nationality. Some issue can be "good" for Serbian part of Kossovo, and other for Muslim part (Albanian, better to define it). There where is topic like Monastery, Kossovo fight, Target - all this topic can be good for Serbian market, and there where is an topic Clinton, Charles, Diana - can go to Albanian market, we know why!

From beginning (year 2000 and 2001) face value are inscribed in DMark, and after it in Euros, and first set (officially issued) is from March 15, 2000 year, set of 5 value, face value of 4.00 DMark, and Michel number 1-5, topic "Historic - Archeology", printed in Austria and market value it around 8.00-10.00 euro.

Next issue come on November 12, 2001, with topic of "Children Painting", Michel numbered is 6-10, face value 4.00 DMark, but in dual nominal inscribed, also in Euro, no printer stated, and market value is around 26.00 euros.

Third issue come out on May 2, 2002 - same topic like previous, "Children Painting" and same design like previous, just face value are now in euros. Michel numbered it 11-15, and market will say around 10.00 euro per set. Again, printed not stated.

Quantity for this issue, more speculative types, imperforated, shifted perforation, color shifting - all this "errors" are available on market, but what is rare is really traveled mail from there.

In photos, You will find some samples of cover and post card delivered from Kosovska Mitrovica (Serbian part) and also from Kosovo but with Serbian postage attached!!!!! This few samples, will be worth investment, because rarity and because we see from it, that on Kossovo soil with UNMIK on spot, is possible to use also Serbian stamp, use SERBIAN post (like need to be - by way), and that UN Force are there just to protect criminal structure on this soil.

And here we come with some Scott catalog update - for this autonomy, I see that listing are for 2006 year, where have an issue 21 Sept. 2006 of International Peace Day (funny-tragicomedy for this issue), showing Rugova signing "peace" document with ALBANIAN flag behind(????? Albanian on Serbian territory - really "chutzpa"), Scott numbered it #58, valued on 7.50$, but I don't believe that You will find it less than 7.50 euro!

Next is Scott #59-62, set and s/s, of 4 value, Ancient coins that show some Roman Empire coin (again some illogical theme), same catalog value for s/s - 7.50 $, and for set it come to 3.75$.

and last what I see are for Sculpture issue in same 2006 year, Dec. 1, Scott number 63, and valued 7.50$.

Again - it will be hard to find it by this prices (in US$) - because on soil of Kossovo, today is valid (officially) Serbian Dinar, but Muslim there use just euro, when someone offer US$ they didn't react.

#13-2007: Really one nice issue, design and I think that they "hit the point", "Easter"!

Everything is done properly, color combination, design, frame, all perfect! Two value issued on March 1, 2007, low face value where set of two can go for 1.20-1.80 euro, and FDC for 2.80-3.00 euro. This set can satisfy few topics, and for sure, world serious collectors will run for.

#14-2007: is to celebrate "Serbia Phila XIV" - Philatelic Exhibition, and issued just in sheet of two stamp, well designed, and can go to "fresque - icons" or "castle" topic, nice color choose, and well designed. Block can go for minimum 1.80 euro.

postage due 3-2007: with one stamp for "roses" design and one for "fighting cancer" with low value, but this two stamp will cost You minimum 1.00 euro.

#10-2007: Like many countries around globe, Serbia this year participated with WWF issue of protected animals, woodpicker, nice design, 4 value set plis one tab on middle, aditional expenses for collectors if want all tabs included in collection, because this sheet is from 5 set, with tab on middle composing one complete picture. Date of issue is April 18, 2007, and set alone can reach 3-4.00 euro (without tab, and strip with tab even more), FDC go for 4.00 euro, and sheet of 5 set absolutely will go for 30-40.00 euro.

#11-2007: commemorating "Table Tennis" issued March 23, 2007, to celebrate European Table Tennis Championship held in Belgrade, and issued in single stamp plus sheet (block) together, where prices for both will reach 2.50+ euro, and FDC can be sold for 4.00 euro, but sheet of 8 plus tab can be high as 15.00 euro.

#12-2007: standard issue for "Nature Protection" (even that Serbia is rapidly cutting forest, for sale on German market), two value set, design with too much color and detail, I personally don't like it, and think that Serbia Post can donate money to Nature Protection Offices, instead of printing this issue. Set of two value, issued on April 20, 2007, set can sell for 2.00 euro, and FDC can reach 3.50 euro, but sheet of 8+tab will have good prices of around 18.00 euro.

is continuing in this year with Red Cross topic (I'm not common why they used "wheel" in design?) and one with Sveti Sava image, not "big" in face value just over 30.00 US cent, but from dealer it will be available for 0.75 US$ this two stamp.

#6-2007: After this come new issue commemorating "Europa - Scouting" that is one of better design in past period that I saw. Even that it is common issue in europe soil, I thinks that Serbia made one nice effort in design. Issued on May 3, 2007, with printing combination for set alone, booklet format, and sheet of 8 plus one tab on middle, it will cost collectors for set of 2v = 1.50 euro, booklet will go for 8.00 euro, sheet will reach maximum 20.00 euro and FDC will go for 3.00 euro.

#7-2007: named "75 year from fly of Amelia Erhart over atlantic" I will shortened it to "Aviation" issued on May 21, 2007, is also issued in this combination, but without booklet, and prices can go for set 1 v = 0.75 euro, Carte Maximum can reach 3.00 euro, FDC = 2.00 euro, and sheet of 8+1 tab = 9-12.00 euro.

#8-2007: come for "Serbian chairmanship of the Council of Europe", issued on May 10, 2007 - even that I don't like to mix politic with philately, I think that this is one strictly political issue, where EU made one "double standard" (same like other countries and UN) - stamp is issued to commemorate chairmanship of European Council, (same Europe that bombed and sanctioned same country Serbia, and now - it look like this way - want to "soften" Serbia and take out 15% of territory) where issued/commemorated with one stamp, valued 20.00 Serbian Dinar. Single will reach 0.75 euro, and FDC will go for 2.25 euro. Issue is good for "map" topic.

#9-2007: named after "Personalities", with commemorating two great writers, politics and more. It is one for 200 years of Dositej Obradovic in Serbia (date of issue is May 28, 2007), and second is for 50 years of Zmaj Children Games (date of issue is Jun 1, 2007), booth FDC is in standard design, not something that collectors will "ran for", and set of 2v will sell for 0.80-1.00 euro, and FDC can go for 4.00-5.00 euro (2 pcs).

What to say about prices that Scott mention is just that it is little bit under priced against Michel prices, and according present market value - it will be hard to buy this material even with full Scott catalog value! I thing that it is common for new issue, that Scott give "low" starting position for material that is mostly dominant in Europe, yes - it is right from beginning, but what we learned from past, and especially with SERBIA from occupation period, and before - they also have "low" starting position, which resulted in shortage on market. Today, it is hard to complete collection!!!!

Time will say - but I personally have an bad experience, and was pressured to pay much more than catalogue value for some items, just to complete collection.

My opinion is simple - keep to invest in Serbia, not all but some items (don't forget about sheetlets of 8+tab, 5 with tab on middle) will be valuable, and some will be extreme to find, like usually, some items will never recover even basic investment (too much printed).

To the future - I will try to update numbers on this page, as Scott will publish it on magazine (and if they will allow me for it) hope that some items will receive good starting prices, and we will see (with God help, and if health will allow) if I was right regarding prices.

Issued on 15 October 1943, to commemorate 100 year of Serbian Post, one nice issue, good topic (Train, Post, Air Mail), and in quantity of 250 000 sets.

On picture You can see one sheet of 20 stamp (4 set) + 4 tab, that mean - just 62 500 sheet was printed. Again, if we take in account war, quality of glue, time passed, and quantity sold abroad - we come to situation where You will be unable to buy it easy on market.

I noticed it in last year and half on eBay, maybe one or two time offered, and last time I saw that asking prices start too high.

What is asking in Michel prices from 2004/2005 year edition is 7.50 euro for mint and 25.00 euro for used set. Sheet is not stated by prices, it is just mentioned in Michel catalog, but SFK catalog have it more affordable prices, set is stated for mint 3.50 euro and used go for 15.00 euro.

Sheet on SFK catalog have asked prices for 20.00 mint and 55.00 euro for used condition, and here we have little bit better prices for same set on cover originally canceled will go for 20.00 euro.

Just to mention, that this period material, like others from occupation period - BUY JUST FROM TRUSTED SUPPLIER in used condition, or better - pay for certificate, and You will have it used original.

1847 & 1848 year Pre-philately mail cover:

Like what we know, pre-philately in Serbia start on May 25, 1840 year, when was opened first post station in Belgrade.

Yes -existed mail delivery before this date, but it is carried by horse rider, and mail didn't have cancellation, or cancel alone.

When valuing this kind of envelopes, we need to think/care that envelop have nice readable cancel, good condition, visible date and city name, and to know rarities of cancellation and cancel numbers. For this elements, I prefer one nice and professionally edited catalogue of Serbian Phila Club Beograd (cover period 1840-2003), issued in 2003.

On scan is two cover used in 1847 and 1848 year that are shown here.

Looking on market prices, recently it was offered on eBay, and sold for really bargain prices of 10-20 euros, but when is question about really market value - it can reach also more that few thousand euro, all is conditioned with cancel rarities and from where it is delivered. I can see on SFK catalogue one sample of Aa Beograd post, with date May 25, 1840, that have catalogue value of 12 000 euros and I think it can reach much more if offered by any world class auction.

Just to mention that in Serbia was in use also Turkish Post Service (1841-1878), and "DDSG" (Donau-Dampfschiffahrts-Gesellschaft 1840-1880) and according same Serbian catalogue, envelope with this period cancellation can reach from 300.00 to "open" market value.

2007 year:

start with #1-2007, named "International Polar Year" where design is nice, and Maxi Card have it really good. Issued Jan 30 2007, and dealer want for set/single 1.oo euros, for FDC need 2.50 euros, for Carte Maximum full 3.00 euros.

2-2007 is "Actors - Famous TV and Cinema" that is printed in standard sheet of 8+1 tab on middle, and dealer want for full sheetlet 4.00 euros. Issued on Feb 16 2007.

#3-2007 here I LIKE IT - Tourism, and this set together with next issue of Flowers made one excellent combination. For this set, need to give 3.00 euros.

#4-2007 is gived to capital Belgrade, one single value, same design like before one year, when it is issued by name SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO, but with different face value. Dealer want for it 2.00 euro.

#5-2007 one beautifull issue of Flowers, really nice, and I think that cost of 3.00 euros for set is right.

Postage Due - 2007, is also issued, with two stamp, sport topic, and sell for 1.00 euros.

End of 2006 year issue is presented with #9 (Two hundred year of liberation Beograd), where is issued single stamp, and on FDC one old drawing, issued Dec 13 2006 - nice design for FDC, but stamp is full of small detail, that lowered quality.

Dealer have standard prices for new issue, this one is 0.70 euros for single stamp, and FDC go for 2.20 euros.

Number #10 - one nice issue for UNICEF 60 yr. - I'm really sorry, that it is not printed in single stamp block issue, because designer made "full point" with it. Nice, professionally designed and beautiful!

Prices is same like previous issue 0.70/2.20 euros, issued Dec 11 2006.

Number #13 - go to Christmas, issued Nov 20, 2006, in standard topic and picture like everywhere in the world.

Christmas decoration, nice to remember, but no more than that.

Prices go to 1.20 euros (two value set) and 2.70 euros for FDC.

And now #12 - one prize winner (will be I hope) issue for ART, issued on Nov 16, 2006, two value set, Mozart and Rembrandt picture, really intelligent design, and sheetlet of 9+1 tab that differe from common type used before. Something, that I didn't find in other countries, and very near of Czech or Slovakian quality.

Prices go 2.50 euros for set of 2v, 7.00 euros for same set but with tab attached, 38.00 euro for sheetlet of 9+1, and 5.90 euro for FDC.

Number #11 - is dedicted to Theater "Atelje 212", presented with picture of Actors and building of same, not something that catch eye.

Prices standard 0.50 euros for set and 2.00 euros for FDC, issued Nov 10, 2006.

Number #14 - is typical for New Year issue, with Santa Claus dominating stamp, nothing special, but in frame. Stamp will cost 0.80 euro, and for FDC need to give 2.30 euro, issued Dec 1, 2006.

Anti Masonic FDC cover - again, I wish to add one more sample, which is not stated (but just mentioned) in Scott catalog.

We are talking about Scott #2NB15-18 (see previous post) where is on show FDC from this set in 'standard' version, mean with black cancel, with Michel catalog valued at 55.00 Euros.

Here is an picture of same issue, but with gold cancel, and that are still very important when talk about value of it.

I just check the Serbian catalog which have it valued on 75.00 e, and Michel catalog from 2005 yr value it on 150.00 e. I ask my supplier from Belgrade, Novi Sad and Backi Petrovac, about this items and all told me that with gold cancel will be very hard to obtain it.
Reason is that many people sold it long time ago, when was Serbia bombed by NATO and sanctioned by UN, most collectors exported and sold best items to Germany.
And one issue of this tipe is attractive for collectors that collect topic of Judaism, Third Reich, Masonic, etc.

In the end, nearly one and half year later, I received one offer from Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and asking prices was 130.00 euro, which I accepted at glance.

I can just suggest to collectors searching for this items, don't buy it from online auctions!!!!!
If You see that someone is offering this item by email, online auction, or other means - pass it, best is to buy it from knowing dealer or from trusted supplier who know all possible manipulation with this period material.

Serbia #5 "Joy of Europe":

They issued this topic every year, starting from 1969, and Belgrade is host to european children from first till sixt of October.

FDC is showing some dravings by children, and on this one I can say, is one nice attempt to promote our young population and that what need to be worldvide.

Issued on 29 Sept. 2006, with two stamps, and what I noticed, it is in face value JUST in Serbian dinars.

Before they issued value in local currency together with value in euros, now they use just local currency - this have some message, I understand it like "slowing speed" with EU propaganda, and more concentrating on domestic money.

Serbia #4 "Museum exhibit - Bridal Jewelry in Serbia":

Really nice project, and visible "fresh idea" by artist, who is this time someone "new" on "market" (N. Skochajich - Belgrade).

Four value in set, in local currency, great design, and I think - worth to invest in sheetlets.

Again, issued in sheetlet of 5 set + tab on middle vertical row, which give for every set different tab.

Not common - but worth. Every sheetlet has own number on selvage.

Serbia #7 "Stamp Day":

That commemorate first stamp of Serbia (23 May 1863 day that was decided to issue stamp).

This (picture) issue will come to topic "Stamp on Stamp", and date of issue is 24 Oct. 2006.
FDC is simple but nice design, and stamp alone is one poor reproduction of first stamp of Serbia.

Interesting is just, that this time Serbian Post decided to print it in sheetlet of 8 but without tab on middle of sheetlet, instead, they choice to use "Israeli" style, with every stamp with own tab.

Serbia #6 "Water polo" topic.

Issued to commemorate European championship in water polo, where Serbia got first place (gold medal) - first by independent state Serbia.
Again issued in sheetlet of 8+tab on middle sheet, numerated on salvage.
Issued on 13 Sept. 2006, artist like usually M. Kalezic.
FDC is nice design, but stamp alone is missing quality to math this kind of success.

Serbia Modern #8 and samples of Red Cross:

Here we have one single issue from "Monastery" topic, that Serbia issued for common use, it is small size, small face value of 8 dinar, for use in domestic transport.

Pictured on is Monastir Zicha, but design is low quality.

Near this issue, You can see four different issue of postage due stamp, for Red Cross week, Against AIDS, Childrens week and Solidarity week.

I think that we need to talk about this issue, because reason that they issued it, is so human, that many countries need to learn from it.

Let's start from beginning.
Issued on 13 Sept. 1942, middle of WWII, country destroyed, bombed, industry on zero activity, most Serbian population eliminated (killed) by German Occupation army - and Serbian decided to help poor and war orphans.
Set have 4 value, with "Mother and Child" pictured, author is Vladimir Guljevic, and printed in Belgrade Gov't offset printing plant, quantity is 52 000 sets, in printing sheet of 16 (4x4 set).

Part of quantity printed, have graver initials on some of stamp, that make difference in valuing this issue.

Like all other issue from this period, this issue is also vulnerable to rust, and damage by glue, paper quality, and war period, and to find sheetlet of 16 is also hard task, especially if it is
52 000 set printed, that mean just 13 000 sheetlet existed at issue day.

What say catalog for this issue. Michel just stated that existed sheetlets, but no value for it. If to value it according set - it will be 4x40 euros will give prices for 160.00 euros for sheetlet, in mint, nh, condition. Scott value it (set) 26.00 $, mean over 100.00$ for sheetlet, and SFK catalog have more specific prices, because they value also with and without graver's initials.
For standard set, SFK catalog have value of 12.00 euros, set in block of four go to 16.00 euros, with graver's initials set will reach 52.00 euros.

In case that you have it on used cover - it is bonanza - original cancel will give You 680.00 euros for complete set. Just for info - I didn't saw it in my life, maybe (because I'm young) till end - I will find it.

Let's see what market will say?

Searching for sheetlet will take "dentist" patience, if someone have it in collection, hardly will sell it separately, and if it will pop-up somewhere on auction, it will reach more than 150.00 euros per sheetlet, but - if You have lucky, and find direct sale, or You have Your dealer - it will cost You somewhere around 120.00 euro for sheetlet of 16 stamp (4 set).

Serbia (German Occ.) Michel #Block1 and 2 FDC, Scott #2NB5 and 6:

This is one fascinating item that I must show here!
So nice, so great design and intention.
Issued in 22 Sept 1941, to help reconstruction and victim of Smederevo town blast.
Blast was in Germans Occupied forces amunition warehouse, that caused total destruction of city.
Issued two s/s, one perforated and second imperforated, in 22 000 pieces each!
So small quantity printed, that can hardly meet collectors needs. Can be included in castle/fortrees, WWII, German areas, topics.

Because of small quantity available, some people made some fake cancelation, to reach prices, that say (for perforated and imperforated separately):

Michel catalog value for FDC is 750.00 euros,
SFK catalog valued it same in 750.00 euros,
Scott have it on 300.00 $ for used set of each s/s.

Not small investment for collectors who usually need booth of them, and that will cost 1500.00 euros catalog value.
What will market say about this prices? I have really hard work and lot of time (more than 2 year) till I obtained both FDC. And in SFK and Michel catalog is warning for fake cancels, that mean more risk to obrtain one classic material, but - when I received it - it was really satisfaction.
Yes - I don't pay full catalog value, but for 1000.00 euros You can find one set of this block in good condition, but without certificate.
Because that I warn all collectors to buy it just from trusted dealer, and if possible, to invest in certificate.
On FDC that is on display You can see cancel from FD issue + set that someone used on the first day issue, I think for intention just to keep it in good condition, because to save it in mint, nh, condition, for long period, was impossible mission.
It is printed on common paper, little bit heavy, in Government Printing Plant Belgrade, gummed yellow/bright, but glue from this period was "killer" for this material. In most cases, You will find it rusted, and with damaged glue.
If to someone was offered this s/s in mint, nh, best condition ('like new") I will suggest to everyone - reject offer, and ask about certificate.

Serbia German Occ. Scott #2NB15-18 FDC "Anti-Masonic Exhibition" (Left)

Even that this two issues didn't come from new independent Serbia, I choice to publish it for some good reason. For long time, I search for this two items but it is really hard to find it in even good condition, and in perfect condition is even harder if not un illusion.

With Scott 2NB7-10, didn't made me so big problem, but with "sister" issue (Scott #2NB11-14) is lot more difficult case. I try to obtain it for one customer for almost two year ("sister" issue), but without result at all. Actually, client need it in sheet issue of 20+5 tabs, where tab formed cross on middle of sheet. Issue come out on 24 Mart 1942, named "For Our Prisoners".

This issue (photo Scott #2NB7-10) Local catalogue mint set valued it low 5.00$, but issue have some more printing combination, and according type, is valued from 10.00US$ up to150.00 US$, on cover with original cancel even can reach 600.00 US$. Here is catalogue numbers and prices for this (photo) set:

Issued on 6 Dec. 1941, Local catalog (SFK, 2003 yr) #649-52, FDC = 75.00 euro, Michel catalog 2005 yr, # 54/57, FDC = 75.00 euro, and Scott 2006 yr #2NB7/10 for set used valued it on 64.00 US$.

Second picture (left side) is commonly know by name "Antimasonic", actually issued for Philatelic Exhibition held in Belgrade (Serbia) at 1 Jan 1942 (which topic to celebrate New Year?!). Here is numbers and prices on catalogues:

Scott 2006 yr #2NB15-18, set used = 16.50 US$, Michel 2005 yr # 58-61, FDC = 55.00 euro, and local catalogue (SFK) 2003 year have for FDC = 28.00 euro.

What is point with this set? Except topic (Anti-Masonic, Judaica, Masons, German Area), it have also low quantity printed, 507 000 set issued, unsold quantity of 203 000 sets was destroyed after exhibition. With little calculation, we come to conclusion that around 300 000 visitors arrived to see exhibition(!!!!) take in account that it was an war period, occupied country, with daily fighting, no job, economy at low as can be and we can compared it to today's most attended world exhibition. Strange but true!

Where come problem? Hmmmmm - try to find it in perfect condition, and used with originally postally used cancel - just try, and You will see that it is impossible! I was in possession of few hundred of sets, but less than 10% was in fine condition. Just once I obtained full printing sheet, and it was without gum. Existed two type of FDC, one with black cancel (shown) and valued around 50.00 US$, and second type is in gold color, valued from 100-150.00 US$.

For my satisfaction, I go to eBay, and saw it there few sets for sale, seller placed starting bid at around 28.00 US$, with option "buy now" little more, at 32.00 US$. FDC I didn't see on eBay?!

What made this set rare and expensive? I think it is time, topic, quantity printed and destroyed in short period, country, add to it thick glue and standard paper plus war period, You will come to less than 10 000 copies that survive first ten years, today - I think, just few of it is "rolling" around globe.

Serbia (new independent) issue:

Just because of some comments that I received, I must say, that ALL prices for new issue, that appear in, are prices of dealer/s at the day of issue - with time, this prices, usually come down, and every dealer will reduce it according own interest.

I will try to post pictures new issue from Serbia, and according my supplier, it is continuing issue policy from Serbia and Montenegro.
Printing house will stay same, and author and other technical detail will be in use like before.
They will be listed in continuity for Yugoslavia = Serbia and Montenegro = Serbia.

Good new is just that they keep it in small quantity issue, just to satisfy philatelist subscription need, and minor supply for post office curiosity, because in all post branches they use automatic labels - yes - it will result in less used material on market, and like what we have case with German Occupation period of Serbia, it will have high value in catalog - I think, and suggest to all collectors, keep Your stock up to date.
