7-2012 Science:

Issued March 30, 2012, with three stamp in set celebrating 75 yr Fine Art Academy, 75 yr Music Academy and 150 yr Gymnasium in Pozarevac city.

All three stamp in set are printed in very low quantity of 25 000 - for this really nice set, I think not enough for all collectors that collect topic! Probably You will need some more effort to have it in collection. Prices are not so big deal at market, some 2+ $ per set, but sheet of 10, will cost You little premium - probably 23-25.00 $ - in any way - nice set.

8-2012 Joint issue with Slovakia:

That go out on April 12, 2012, to be fair - one of worst design, or "idea" that Serbian Post made in last period.

I understand significance of mentioning one artist like Jan Konjarek, but it can be done in other way. To make joint issue between two countries with very similar folk, existed many another "dual" thing that can be placed on stamp, and mark this event. But, probably someone don't think like me.

Single stamp issued, Market will ask for it somewhere between 1.00 to 1.25 $ for each. Again same low quantity printed, 25 000 - that will result in shortage of it on option if You will seek for stamp with gutter.

9-2012 Belgrade Marathon:

It happened for 25 time - year, nice event, more or less good design, low face value that will be also well available on market, because it is printed in 50 000 quantity.

Come to market on April 21, 2012.

10-2012 Reptiles - Fauna:

Snake, lizard and turtle world! Attractive, again with gutter between, that will make You trouble if You wish to have all complete picture from gutter. You will need all 5 sets to complete it. And not so cheap ! Complete set will take from You some 4-5.00 $!!!! Quantity printed are 65 000 for all stamp in set - it is 13 000 sheetlet of 5 set in, I think that "shortage" will not occur for this set, but market prices will probably just rise! Come to market on May 21, 2012.

11-2012 EUROPA issue:

Well made presentation of Serbia! Wish that they print it in huge quantity, that every mail from Serbia have one stamp on it - and this way to promote places that are worth to visit!

Yes - nice, and popular topic resulted in large quantity printed - 100 000, which will, probably turn down market value. Because that, again probably, Serbia Post printed it in high face value of 77.00 and 44.00 dinar. At the moment, I see that market is valuing it on around 2.50 $ per set. But again here we have sheetlet of 8 with gutter on middle - which will made (again) extra expenses if You need it with gutter. 

Go out to market on May 30, 2012.

Postage Due 2-2012:

Like usually, one for Sv. Sava Church in Belgrade, and second for Para Olympic team! Good gesture if You wish to "donate" some money for this nice cause! But, You must to understand, that catalog will valued it minimum, and on market it will be not so frequent in offering - because that prepare extra effort to find in in mint or used condition, and also some 1.00 $ per sample.

10-2010 Classic Car:

Official name for this issue are "Motoring", that hardly match this topic, I can say that it is just "Classic Car" because 55 year is long enough to mark one car like "classic"! Here is talking about Zastava 750 type, that was once symbol of Yugoslavia advance in technology and industrialization, where this car are made on the base of Fiat 600D type. In Yugoslavia it was one family car! can You imagine it! Family car! I have very problem (at the time when I lived there) to manage driving, and when I was just sitting on the back seat, it was very unpleasant experience - but, I enjoy to travel across Yugoslavia, where I and my friends know to travel more than 2000 km in one way with this small machine. I miss it even today! Final day of this car production was grave - whole factory are sold to Turkey, and final car go down in production some ten or twenty years ago, when "new world order" come to Yugoslavia.

One single stamp issued, FDC and CM follow. Date April 8, 2010 - face value is 0.26 $, affordable and hardly that will reach some big catalog value - quantity printed 128 000, I think, more than need! printing sheet is 25 stamp.

11-2010 Fauna - City Birds:

One nice issue from Serbia, not of great importance, but still nice. Pictured are: Pigeon Highflier (Columba Livia), Great Tit (Parus major), House Sparrow (Passer domesticus), Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros).

In background of each stamp are panorama from cities: Belgrade, church in Krushevac, fortress in Nish and Subotica view. Issued on April 12, 2010, with quantity printed 38 000 sets, printing sheet of 5 with tab on middle of set of 4 - something that made little problem for collectors who want to have set with tab, because it is 5 set with each tab in different way - that made whole picture - You can not separate it if You want to keep picture intact. Face value for set is 1.79 $, but very small quantity printed will made prices go up.

12-2010 Industrialization - Thermo Power Plant:

Hardly that Greenpeace will agree to issue one coal power plant on stamp, but - people think differently! This issue is hardly of some significance, it celebrate 140 year of industrialization of Serbia, this is very questionable! In this period of 140 year, it was Serbia, Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro and finally just Serbia independent - and I will ask, who have credit to say: "We made industrialization"? Nothing worth to mention, simple issue of one stamp, Kostolac view, one of main air pollutant in Serbia! Worth to put it on postage stamp? face value is minimal of 0.26 $, for sure You will obtain it less than face value on exchange basis. Quantity printed standard - 38 000 stamp.

13-2010 Europa - Children's Book:

Here I can say, that Serbia beat all other countries, that made this issue, in design - it is so great, nice, eye-catching, beautiful and in the end - educational! It is made with whole hearth of designer N. Skochajic! All respect to her - and people that made it happen. I saw many issue with this topic, some are neo-advanced, some are simple, some are ugly - but Serbian are best!

Issue on May 5, 2010 - that actually match nature - May months when all nature flower and all come green out there - Serbian Post issue one really good set! I must copy this sequence from FDC: "...The imagination creates a new world over which reign other laws of man (human) and nature...".

Printed quantity is again small - just 60 000 set, I see in Program for 2010 that it was planned set and s/s - but still go out just set (?) - probably someone know what happen? S/S was planned to be printed just in 25 000 pieces - but if didn't occur it must be just because of some "grey" play in! God know, but in the end we will find true!

Face value are not small - set are 1.70 $ - think that You will need in collection set, set with tab and probably sheet of 8 plus tab - than - prepare somewhere between 30-40.00 $ to pay! In scan You can see one FDC officially issued and also one FDC that are private made - for this second You will need to pay much more like official issue!

Postage due 2-2010:

Here I don't have any information about date of issue, but it is "like usually" issue for Red Cross and next one for European Championship in water-polo, that is held in 2010. Small face value of each is 0.11 $. Stamp for water-polo are nicely design, suggest to have it!

Now, I wish to inform other collectors and especially people who collect and specialize in Serbia - I hear some rumors, that there is going some "dirty" game on with Jugomarka Company! Someone informed me that, Jugosmarka are doing business illegally - that they have no licence to issue postage stamp, that they are one-one-know owned by, that they are not registered in legally - and go on reason why it must be closed down! Probably some "smoke" are there, because we see it in difference in Program for 2010 - where have some issue not printed in way described, and again some rumors regarding FIFA Football Championship (see picture of this one cover) - where is planned just one set of 2 stamp, but after FIFA insist, it is added also s/s, planned was printing sheet of 8 stamp plus tab - but I hear that it is printed in sheet of 5 - in the end, someone informed me that whole issue will come late because objection from FIFA (about royalties for use of logo) - let's wait and see what will happen!

8-2009: Art - issued on April 6, 2009 - They chose to celebrate three artist from Serbia, with three stamp in set, each artist have one main work.

Start with low denomination, 22.00 dinar, it is 100th Ann. of birth artist Milena Pavlovic Barilli. She was daughter of Italian composer Bruno Barilli. This stamp show us main work named "Self Portrait with a veil", from 1939 yr.

Second value of 46.00 dinar is work of Jovan Bijelic, celebrating 125th yer of birth. Stamp is his art work named "Dead Nature with Parrot" - and third value is also 46.00 dinar, with art work of Paja Jovanovic, work named "The Young Woman in Pink Dress". This three stamp in set have an 1.62 $ face value, but on market it will come almost to 3-3.50 euro, depending on who sell and where, Design of three FDC (3-7.00 euro market prices) are even more better done than stamp alone, and if You wish to invest - buy sheet of 10 (valued around 35.00 euro).

9-2009: "Universiade sport event" - issued on March 31, 2009 - to commemorate sport event "Universiada" - that are held in Belgrade this summer. Sport event start on 1-12th July and have one record of athlete from 170 countries and 200 disciplines. Two stamp in series, with logo and mascot of event, nice artist design, but I can say - little bit childish art work for this importance. Set of two have an face value of 22.00 + 46.00 dinar, that is around 1.00 $, but again, dealer will charge You minimum 2.00 euro. Both stamp can be included in many topic - from athletics, tennis, basketball and other sport, and for FDC prepare 2-4.00 euro, sheet of 8+tab will take from You 15-18.00 euro.

10-2009: "EUROPA - Astronomy" - Here I will shout: "Thanks SERBIA for this nice issue"!! One of best that I can see around all countries in Europe. Issued on May 5, 2009 with two stamp, face value of 46.00+50.00 dinar (little bit more expensive but still affordable) - it is around 1.37 $ - but hardly that You will have it from dealer for less than 2-3.00 euro! Reason? Here is it - quantity printed is just 60 000 set (just less than 9 000 sheet of 8), think that most dealer will subscribe for more than 50 set of this issue, which will result in shortage on market. Who was that statue on stamp? Goddess URANIA, protector of Astronomy, and on other stamp we have Galileo's telescope and Milky Way, radio-telescope and nebula Horse Head. Quantity printed is around "middle" of practice that Serbia have, less than that quantity have just issue of less importance (28 000), and more important issue (for Serbian Authority) have quantity printed of 528 000 maximum. Why they decided to print just 60 000 pieces - I think because prices (higher value) and also to keep future catalogue value, that will constantly rise because of demand. For FDC prepare more than 4.00 euro, and sheet of 8+tab will cost You darly - 25-30.00 euro depending of dealer. I can suggest You just one simple way - if You have trading partner, exchange partner - take it twice You need - because if You will go to dealer - You are finished!

#9-2008, "European Nature Protection":

issued on May 23, 2008 - two value, 20.00 and 46.00 serbian dinar, it will be somewhere around 1.32 US$ face value, but - BUT, dealer will not sell it less than 2.50 US$ per one set, reason is very clear (and I think justified) - dollar value are constantly low, chaos around oil and globally prices are rising for everything.

This issue commemorate Nature protection, that I believe are really very important, it have great connection with one fact, that human are more and more responsible for situation in nature, and that WE all forgotted simple thing - MOTHER NATURE, that have own law, own system and own punishment for human bean.

First stamp (20.00 Serbian Dinar) have picture of Vlasina Plateau, one beautiful, untouched place in Serbia where more than hundred spices of bird have place, and some rarest floral samples existed.

Second stamp (46.00 Serbian Dinar) placed Dewil's Town (Djavolja Varos) on it, this is one natural reserve place in central Serbia, recently proposed for "world heritage". To be fair, this stamp I don't like, because artist made it in little bit "confused" way, with mixing some "ill" colors - maybe it was intention because name of place alone.

Just to mention one error on FDC - on back side, where is explanation and article about this issue - one typo error occured, where is stated that two value existed, one with 46.00 dinar and second with 50.00 dinar - ectually it is just 20.00 and 46.00 - for collectors luck.

#10-2008, "EUROPA" - Letter-Mail:

Here I can say just "WOW" - unbelieve, Serbian Post made it well!!!! Great design, great message, great visual contact, in any aspect - well done! Congratulation to Nadezda Skocajic, designer - and people from administration that approved this issue. Issued on May 5, 2008, common topic for this year EUROPA issue around countries, but here is in picture explanation of all mean postal transport, all kind, vehicle, train, diligance, old ship and pigeon - covered all in one beautifful first day cover. I think that this issue will be very valued, because EUROPA issue alone, and specific from this Serbian, that like usually are printed in relatively low quantities (for EUROPA issue I think it will be around 50 000) - how it will fill all need of topical collectors that collect "stamp on stamp", "transportation" and other topic that appear on this issue.

Face value for this two stamp are around 2.00 US$, but - try it from dealer! Minimum that they will ask will be 6.00 US$ for set of two value, without tab - and because this issue are printed in sheet of 8+1 tab on middle, it will reach more $ for set with tab, and according my experience, sheet of 8+1 will cost around 48.00 US$ - I'm just pesimistic and little affraid, that this issue will go like issue from MOntenegro EUROPA from 2005 "Gastronomy" that today have few hundred euros on market.

I wish luck to all with this issue, and hurry to obtain it as soon as possible.
