2019 - Continuing:

10-2019  Artistic Dance in Serbia:

To be fair, one good design for booklet pane of 4.

Artistic Dance, we usually call it Ballet, for small country as Serbia is important part of culture and cultural life, so it is very good way to promote it also by Philately.

This issue was released on April 23, with four stamps in set.

This time, Serbian Post decided to celebrate 4 female dancers, that made Serbian ballet great:

Maga Magazinovic (1882-1968),

Smiljana Mandukic (1907-1992),

Jovanka Blagojevic (1931-2015),

and Dusanka Sifnios (1933-2016).

Set is in very favorable, I can say, low face value of under two US$, little bit more You will need for booklet pane with cover, but still under three US$.

11-2019 EUROPA - National Birds:

As usually at this time of year, EUROPA issue come to the light. This year, they chose to made topic under "National Birds", where all countries made design according birds that resides in specific country. 

Serbia have it with design of two birds:

Wallcreeper (Tichodroma muraria), and Squacco Heron (Ardeola ralloides).

I really don't know if this birds can be put as "symbol" of country Serbia, but if they chose it, so, let it be!

Market have it at the date of May 9, Spring in full swing!

Two stamps in set, printed in sheet of 8 stamps and gutter in middle, so You will need little bit more money, if You wish all option of this set, as small sheet, or just set with left, right, up or down gutter attached to set. As face value are somewhere around one and half US$, be prepared to pay premium to stamp shop. If You decided to purchase this set directly from Serbian Post, be very careful, as it can take time and additional charges.

12-2019 Museum Exhibit:

17 May, 2019 mark this issue, and made to celebrate 175 years of the National Museum in Belgrade, Serbia. Two stamps in set, design that we know from the time of Yugoslavia.

Two work shown on stamp:

Simeon Roksandic - The Boy Plucking the Thorn, and 

Auguste Renoir - Bather.

Probably You will need more than expected to pay for this two stamps issue, as it is near two US$ in shop, and follow also FDC, CM and sheet of 8 stamps with gutter on middle.

13-2019 - 800 years of Autocephaly of the Serbian Church:

Yes, very important for Serbia and Orthodox Church, as this 800 years are not something that didn't made history, it is period, that many-many countries on the planet don't have. I can say, that MOST of today "independent" countries, even didn't exist.

Printed at June 13, 2019, with design, my personal opinion, actually ruined this highly important date.

On stamp we can see Zica monastery, St. Sava detail from fresco in Milesheva monastery. 

Artist decided to put this "bird view" of monastery together with fresco, so "eye" effect is "full" of forest surrounding monastery at first.

As is, is. face value of m/s is under one US$, so it is very affordable for collectors of "Religion" as topic.

14-2019 Science in Serbia:

Issued on July 10, 2019, two stamps in set, with important scientist on it!

Svetolik Stevanovic and Auripigment mineral,

Jelenko Mihailovic and Mainka Seismograph.

Design is just fine, and can be put in few topic in Philately.

Sheet of ten stamp format with salvage, good addition to every collection!

Face value, again, under one US$ per set of two.

15-2019 Ljubichevo Equestrian Games:

It is not exactly equestrian games, as we know it from TV, but something like local horse game, but very nice to see it on postage stamp.

Aug. 15, 2019, one stamp, very low face value of less than 0.30 US$.

16-2019 European Nature Protection:

I still don't understand, what is need to made this issues every year, as it didn't help to anyone, and for sure, not to nature!

With poor design, hardly that someone will notice it, also higher than usual face value of little bit more than one US$ per two stamps!

17-2019 Tourism in Serbia:

Issued Aug. 21, 2019, one stamp in, again "confusing" design!

So, they "escaped" from total failure with one FDC and CM, which are much-much better designed!

Single stamp, very low face value, but FDC and CM will take premium.

18-2019 Serbia - Turkey Diplomatic Relations:

Holly Spirit, Turk is coming!

(as other countries "cry" - Russian is coming)

140 years in contact, a lot of Serbian people killed by Turk, from Ottoman Empire time till today (backing Bosnia separation from Yugoslavia, Kosovo separation from Serbia), and still Serbian gov't keep diplomatic ties with Turk.

Strange? Yes, but what we can do! (Serbian will tell).

One very nice design, clearly showing national flag and carpet design.

Single stamp, with low face value under one US$.

Printed in sheet of 8 and one gutter on middle.

Postage Due #1-2019:

This time, three small format stamp made with:

Nikola Tesla (1856-1943),

Milutin Milankovic (1879-1958),

Children security on Internet.

All are very low face value of few cents, but no dealer will keep it in stock, and who have, will not sell it less than one US$ per sample.

2016 continuing 6-2016 and up:

6-2016 "Science":

This issue come to market on April 13, 2016, with two stamps in set.

There is one value with "50 years Mathematical Grammar School - Belgrade" and second with "225 years of Gymnasium Sremski Karlovci"!

One very good design and high importance topic, as education is still priority in national pride!

Cancel is really clever, with OWL in middle as symbol for wisdom - so, for topical collectors it will be item of "must to have".

7-2016 "Fauna":

Issued on April 27, 2016, set of 4 values, and in usual format of 5 sets, with gutter on middle that form one complete picture. I personally don't like this format, as it made just "problems" for collectors (additional album page, hinges, space in album, money spend) but, it is nice looking - isn't?

As is, is! Here we have shown European Beaver (Castor fiber L, 1758), Eastern Imperial Eagle (Aquila heliaca Savigny, 1809), The Griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus, Hablizl, 1783), and The European Otter (Lutra lutra, L, 1758). 

8-2016 "EUROPA":

Issued on may 9, 2016, set of two value. 

To be fair, I really don't like this year design in all of this EUROPA issues, but on this Serbian one, Post of Serbia made one nice "funny" detail on overall picture, so it can have one "satisfactory" level.

9-2016 "Nature Protection":

Issued on May 26, 2016. Set of two value - as usually, showing us Nature around Serbia.

This time it is Nature Reserve in Pester, and Kucaj-Beljanica mountain. 

Nice made, even that printing quality or design still missed color variety, and as this is panoramic view, we will hardly notice there (on stamp) shown sheep and one flower (which I admire well) - Snowdrop !

10-2016 "Stamp Day":

Out on market on Jun 7, 2016. As usually, "Stamps on Stamps" topic!

Nice design showing us first issues of Serbia!

Sheet composition little bit strange and unusual as it is of 16 stamps, but as it is low face value, than it is also affordable!

11-2016 "Olympic Rio":

Issued same day as previous issue, Jun 7, 2016, and mu opinion is DISASTER!

I have one principle, and it is: "If You don't know how to made it - better not made it at all"!

This kind of "modern art" design I really don't like, but other people - other taste! So, set of two values and next one m/s will take from Your pocket some 5-6 US$, and if You specialize in Olympic issues, than You will need it!

12-2016 "Tesla Patent - Transformer":

On market Jun 26, 2016, with little bit "strange" choice of portrait of Nikola Tesla (1856-1943), just on label/gutter we see this great scientist recognizable portrait!

His proto-type are shown, so with his portrait we have one nice issue!

Postage Due 2-2016:

Two stamps, as usually in very low value, of 10 dinar, but IF You will find any dealer that have it in stock - You will be lucky one!

All of catalog will value it low as 0.25 $, but when searching to buy it, You will have difficulty! There is almost no one that have it in stock, and who have it, will ask for minimum of 1$ per sample!

One stamps is for St. Sava Church in Belgrade and second is for Olympic in Rio.

This Olympic come under motto "The medal is won by heart",  probably allusion to doping scandals we have in sport.

8-2013 and continue

8-2013 "Nature Protection":

To be fair, this time, Serbian Post made it low! This issue (and probably all next 4), quality and "style" of design come back to low quality work done by people who are involved in deciding and design of postage stamp in this country.

Probably it is wave of political influence? To reinstall "old" connected artist in this field? I don't know, but we see it in this issue, where design go to the point of, say, some low-budget USA Science Fiction movie!

If not FDC that have one "middle" quality art work, I will say for this issue, total collapse!

But as is, issue come out on May 13, 2013, two stamp in set, with face value running little bit over $ (1.12 US$). Good to include it to the "Cave" topic, and it is all. You will be able, to buy it from any local dealer near or at, face value I think.

9-2013 "Actors":

It is same design over and over, it start to be boring in the end, and design is so - say, "without taste", we see that is missing simple imagination in this work. Nothing that will attract collectors that will run after this issue - no, sorry, can not pass even to the "fundamental school" home work.

Like before, again, issue come on 8 stamp and gutter on middle. On market at May 24, 2013. Face value of full set is not low (taking in account that salary in serbia are near same like in China), it is 2.10 US$ per set, think that people will buy?

10-2013 "Cuba - Serbia diplomatic ties":

Issued on May 29, 2013, to celebrate 70 years of diplomatic ties. Here we see some improvement in design of Mr Vlahovic who made some effort to show us some elements of this diplomatic ties between two republics, with showing us flags of both countries, and parliament building in both capital. Close exam, made me little "point finger on my head" and ask, "Why sky over Cuba building is bright, and sky over Serbian building come to 'before rain' situation"? Some intrigue? Conspiracy? Message? 

Single stamp, issued, face value little over half $ (0.55 US$), overall nice issue, that can be put in few topic slike "Flags", "Capitals", "Buildings" - in principle - not bad to have it.

11-2013 "Orchids":

If someone will say "Wow" - I will calm him down! Far from design that "Orchids" deserve! We can not compare it with countries that are "native to orchids" and know how to made stamp look great and sell great, but little element, that make Orchids Orchids must be! And in this issue we are missing this small precise elements! Really sorry - but it is that!

Issue come on June 14, 2013, in printing sheet of 5 set with gutter on middle, with "old" combination, that you will need to buy full sheet if You want to have this gutter in one picture! Four stamp in set, with face value of 2.00 US$ - not low, but if You take in account that You want full sheet - it come high, and local supplier will take additional 20-30% over face value, which will lead You to some 14.00 to 16.00 US$ from dealer in Serbia. Yes, You will pay postage fee, payment fee, but in the end, not too expensive for sheet of 5.

Postage Due 2-2013 "Red Cross":

Typical issue of "Red Cross" that we know from this country, no new design - probably someone there thinks that no need for it!

Hardly that local dealer will sell it less than 1.00 US$ per stamp, but try and You will see.
