2022 - Start:

 So, here we are in beginning with 2022 year, and not something that I'm happy to see!

It is just half year and Serbia Post decided to made around 20 issues, half year only!

It is, as I see, decision to made it in quantity, so to fill income. Even that most are under "low face value", but with quantity it will fill some "frame" in income.

I don't think it is right way in Philately! 

As quantity go up, I will just show picture of all (till now) issued, because it lookalike, will take more time now to describe all in detail or just "short" description.

Take in mind, that exchange rate as today, for local currency (Serbian Dinar) against US$ is:

1.00 US$ = 115.52 Serbian Dinar

so it will be easy for You to find face value of each stamps or set.

Of course, face value is NOT price that You will actually pay, even if You will go for purchase directly from Postal Authority of Serbia, there are additional charge applied to final bill.

Than, if You go for purchase on eBay or other web site/auction, new issue will cost You probably, twice face value plus shipping fees. Even if seller will offer free delivery, it will be probably just for more higher balance sheet. 

Some people say, that they obtain new issues on "exchange" base, which is nice, but not for face value, because You will need to pay postage cost for delivery of Your material, than cost of material You send and not talking about Your time spending in Post Office.

If You noticed, I describe some issues under name "Postage Due", even that there are some small dimension REGULAR issue, ( regular and commemorative postage stamps), it is not all in this category Postage due!

For this issue, I must to say, that I'm very dissapointed how artist made this design, in some poor quality,that is giving "feeling" that artist simply don't understand basic typography principles!

All who know Petar Lubarda know that his art work are full of colors, can say, heavy colors, so You, as artist that made proposals for stamp design, know which effect will be in the case when same "full color" are in background of postage stamp too! Now, we have one hardly visible image of Lubarda work.

Will someone here recognize Taurus and Scorpio, on this two "full red" stamp design?

It will be "hard task" to see it on first glance, but if it was made, as with white frame, than full visibility will appear!

...against one disappointment in design! Yes, it is EUROPA issue under name of  "Stories and Myths", so they made it with folk tale of "Drekavac" (a being that, at night, rides on a man's back, until the man is exhausted), but - BUT! Can You find this being on this postage stamps?

2019 year: Start with:

1-2019 "Year of The Pig":

It is now, an "standard" design for this topic, "New Year" (China), which come, again, in two stamps in set. 

Date of issue are Feb. 5, 2019, with Pig as one of 12 symbols from China Lunar Calendar.

Not lot to say about design alone, as it don't have too much space to explore, but, in the end, it is one nice design with popular topic.

face value are still in low range, and set can be obtained as low as under 2.00 $ price range.

2-2019 "Easter":

This one issue, come with standard set of two, and back to "oval shape" design (that remind us to egg). 

design is very good, with reproduction of  two frescoes from Studenica Monastery. 

Face value is again under 2.00 $, but if You need FDC, that need to prepare little bit more!

3-2019 "150 years of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi":

Single stamp issue, Feb. 28, 2019, good design, but design of FDC say much more about this great person!

Small sheet composition of 8 stamps with gutter on middle, with symbol on gutter of "charkha", well know symbol of passive resistance.

Single stamp value are 1.41 $, but here You will have another option with gutter attached, and whole sheet of 8 stamps, which will increase value of the same.

4-2019 "Flora - Mushrooms":

Yes, good one issue, for sure, less good than "mushroom" issues we know from post-WWII period, but still good one. 

March 3, 2019, four stamps in set, sheet composition of 4 sets, and this time no gutter involved.

Official name is "Flora - Fungi", but I like to call it mushroom just.

On design, we see: Psilocybe serbica, Tuber petrophilum, Coprinopsis picacea and Octospora pannosa.

Now, as it is very popular topic, and set have four stamps in it, probability that You will need around 3.00 to 4.00 $ in cash to obtain this set. 

5-2019 "50 years of Radio Belgrade":

Not too much to talk, and design in such way, that this issue will be forgotten very quickly.

Single stamp, under 0.50 $ market value, come to the market on March 12, 2019.

6-2019 "100 years of the Assoc. of Drama Artist of Serbia":

Next one issue that will go un-noticed, and again with design that is something between "home work" and "must to made". Here we have luck, because FDC is much better designed.

Single stamp, less than half $ value, and probably available on market!

March 27, 2019.

7-2019 "Doyens of Serbian Acting":

March 27, 2019, 8 stamps in set, very popular actors shown, standard design that we know from past.

Not too much to talk about, except that it is under 5.00 $ market value.

8-2019 "Cities of Serbia":

Oh, I like this design!

Even that design is not so "spectacular", I still like it!

April 11, 2019, two stamps in set, Zrenjanin and Pancevo shown.

FDC and CM available, and 2.50 $ of market value worth.

9-2019 "Fauna - Protected Animals":

Four stamp in set, that come to the market on April 18, 2019, will give very nice addition to Your collection. 

Design very similar to previous issues, with Rupicapra rupicapra balcanica, Ursus arctos, Plecotus marcobullaris, Mustela eversmanii shown here.

FDC have one very nice design and sheet composition of 5 sets with gutter on middle. Gutter again is one "picture" which will just increase market value!

market value, at the moment stay with 3.56 $ per set, but whole sheet of five can go up to 23.00 $.

5-2015 continuing:

5-2015 EUROPA:

Must to mention, that quality pf printing improve greatly as printing company shifted from FORUM to ZIM. It is more "eye catching" and more higher resolution, so we see it on quality of stamp!

So, 5-2015 come as many country go with "Old Toys" name,  Serbia is showing us nice design, but (my opinion) little bit "naive" - nothing terrible, as we know that this topic is not so "wide" in range.

Issue come to market on April 16, 2015, in set of two stamp, face value around 1.50 $ per set, but keep an eye on FDC, as it can reach on market more than 6.50 $.

6-2015 2nd Serbian Uprising:

Important history for Serbian people, as this uprising give whole Serbia new dimension in managing own country, still occupied by Turk, and for sure, deserve to be on postage stamp.

One sheet of two stamp, showing us some detail of happening alone, place where it happen, leader, coat of arms... design little bit too "dark" as probably to show us that this past, was not so "bright" in Serbian history, because of lot causalities. This two stamp have little bit high face value of 2.05 US$ and as printing quantity are low (30 000), this resulted in high price tag for FDC (near 8.00 $ that dealers ask), I will suggest to wait little bit with purchase.

7-2015 Science/Personalities:

Nice set, even that it show us personality of Serbian science, set of two stamp, one is showing us portrait of Jovan Cvijic (1865-1927),  Serbian Geographic Society, and others. Second stamp is for Dr Acim Medovic (Dr Joachim Medowic, Poland) (1815-1893), Medicine was his field! 

Issue come to market on May 8, 2015, as set of two in m/s, face value low 0.90 $, so sheet of 8 and gutter will be nice to have in collection.

8-2015 ITU (International Telecommunication Union):

This topic have an nice popularity, as I see also one article in Linn's Stamp News, so, 150 years of In't Telecommunication is not small things! Serbia made it with very good design, of one stamp, showing us symbol of ITU, 150, 1865-2015, and main point in design is AVALA Tower on hill near Belgrade!

Some politician will be not so happy to see this tower on postage stamps, as we know that in near past, this tower was bombed till didn't fall down, and it took some few days for "great machine" of biggest army in this world to destroy it! But, as almost every person, who have Yugoslavian root, all nationalities around, connected with Yugoslavia, donated money, and tower rises again, better, nicer, higher!

Suggest to all - grab it as chance arrive to have it! It is low face value 0.70 $ great design, sheet of 8+gutter are very affordable, so go after it!

Issue come out on May 15, 2015!

9-2015 Native Fruit of Serbia:

This is great, really great design! I saw some from other countries, this year, it is popular, but no one as this! here we have artist in work, giving us "feeling" that this fruit is here, in front of our eye!

Set of 4 stamp, gutter between two stamp, but You will need one printing sheet of 5 sets to have complete picture of gutter between two stamp, which is almost "must be" if You want to have complete collection. 

What is on each stamp: Plum - The Early Bird (Prunus Domestica L.), Pear - The Karaman (Pyrus communis L), Quince (Cydonia oblongaMill.), Apple - The Budim (Malus sylvestris L).

I will tell You, as I lived there - this is great fruit to taste in the world!

This set of four is very affordable, as face value reach 1.60 $, and FDC is one "classic" style!

Issue come out on may 27, 2015.

10-2015 Nature Protection:

So here come "problem" for collectors of topical! Why? Because designer and Serbian Post Company, decided to made one issue with few topic as: Nature, Train, Flora, Trees.... so, collectors will need quantity to be available, but as quantity printed by Serbian Post Company range around 

30 000, this issue will be missing in many collections!

Set of 2 stamps, face value that go to near 1.00 $ per set, but real/market value will increase to double as quantity will be short for all!

Sheet of 8+gutter, great in design, showing us animals around forest in Serbia.

Suggest to obtain it as fast as You can!
